Jade was in one of the many Los Angeles shelters, and was about to head for the Rainbow Bridge about 2 years ago when she was rescued. She went to live with another foster mom. Miss Jade has tummy troubles (Irritable Bowel Syndrom) and needs daily medication and her first foster mom could no longer give her the medication, so she called up the rescuer, and she called me, asking if I knew of anyone who could help take care of her. I said I would foster her. I have failed as a foster mother, as I have decided to keep her. She has integrated well into our family, and I love her.
Bio:
Miss Jade is a very sweet, SHY girl. I've been told she is between 7 and 10 years old, and has Irritable Bowel Syndrom . She needs daily medication, but seems to be doing okay on the medication. She would probably be a lot happier in a house-hold where she was either an only kitty or where she could hang out a lot by herself. UPDATE - She has been adopted by me. In November of 2009, Jade suddenly got very sick. I took her to the emergency vet where she was diagnosed in liver failure. While getting an estimate for treatment I was alone in the office with her. I told her if she needed to run off to the bridge that she could go. She immediately started gasping for breath. The vet came back in the office and helped her to the bridge. I only had her for a little over a year, but I will miss her very much. I think everyone should adopt an elderly cat and give them the chance for love in the last years of their life.

Hi, My name is Miss Jade. I am living with a nice lady person. She has 3 other cats and a dog. I have tummy troubles, and my tummy sometimes hurts. The nice lady person shoves pills down my throat 2x a day. I don't like it, but it does make my tummy not hurt as much.
The cats I live with have their own blog, and they let me blog with them pretty often (at least once a week). The nice lady person said that she will try to cross post those entries here too.
