ODL....Momma came across her favorite Fleetwood Mac song...it was done with the USC marching band.....ahem....a very long time ago. I'm sure she'll change it one of these days......:-( I hope!!!!!

YAWN HO HUM

So there's a new kitten in the house. What's all the fuss about? I'm still Mom's Best Boy and that's all that matters. I just stole Paisa's special bed so now she has to sleep in my old basket.

VACATION TIME

We want to let all our friends know that we'll be away for a whole month. Mom and Dad have been packing for the past couple of days and we know what that means....they are leaving on vacation. Mom is very sad because she thinks leaving us for one week is too long. She told us that this is like the volunteers that go to other counties to take care of helpless people....she goes to this place to care for the helpless kitties....and there are many. Anyway, Pasha and I have been there and don't ever want to go back. We will be much happier here at our home.

We will have a very nice young lady staying here with us, but she doesn't know about our Catster friends.....so we won't be able to answer our emails.

Four weeks is a very long time and we shall miss you all a lot. :-(

Please don't forget us while we are away.

OUR BROTHER WENT TO THE BRIDGE

I was wondering what was wrong with Mom and why Farouk was never around anymore. We are in mourning for him. I'm not sure what that means exactly except Mom and Dad are very sad and its not much fun around here.

I miss you Roukie....you were my only contact with the world outside. I won't have your butt to sniff anymore to find out what's going on in the neighborhood. Now that you are gone I am really alone, being the only one who remembers Suleiman and the old days when there were just the three of us.
Now you can look after Suleiman until we all meet again.

THE DREADED DENTIST

Do not, I repeat, do not ever let your teeth go bad. Get them cleaned regularly and eat the special TD Science Diet Dental catfood. I am a perfect example of what not to do and what happens when you don't do what you should. I think I got that right.....Mom said "just a little trip to the vet" HAH!!!! That was at 8 a.m. after a night of no food or water. I got home at
5 p.m. feeling like crap, a stupid orange wrap on my right upper paw, a mouth that tasted and felt like fuzzy rotten catfish AND minus FOUR....count 'em....FOUR very important molars. PLUS a mouth full of sutures....YUCK. I hid for two days and then finally got hungry and let Mom feed me. The only upside of this event is that for the past week I have been eating very special yummy wet catfood. Since Mom couldn't hold on to me to give me the antibiotics my doctor/dentist got a special prescription for me. An antibiotic gel that Mom could rub into the inside of my ear tips twice a day. I must say I liked that. :-) Anyway, I went back for my post op checkup and Mom was told I was doing great! Too bad, that means back to the dry cat food. :-(

Just remember my words of warning...now back to my basket by the fireplace.

She did it again...she lined us up like criminals.....and made us get our pictures taken. Pasha slept through the whole thing (he always does that) and Rouk disappeared (smart cat). Anyway, KhaiLei and I were the victums tonight, but we did a great job of appearing to co-operate. Heh heh.....the Mom may have taken 50 pictures...but she only came up with two good ones. Back to our naps now.

FLYING THE FRIENDLY SKIES

Today Dad got his carryon out of the closet and Mom started putting his clothes in it. We all know what that means. YAY!!!!!!! All us kitties get to sleep in the bed with Mom tonight and tomorrow night too. But silly Pasha kept climbing in the suitcase. He always wants to go on a trip....he loves to travel. When is he going to learn its more fun to stay at home.

Oh Happy Day!

Ahhhh.....Peace reigns once again. Farouk and I are napping on the good couch in the living room, Pasha is lying under the lamp keeping warm (no fur you know) and KhaiLei is, as usual, right on top of Mom's keyboard taking a nap. She really is a pretty good little girl.

ODL Why Can't We All Just Get Along

I swear if Farouk doesn't stop hissing at KhaiLei I'm going to take matters into my own paws. Yes, she does run from place to place instead of walking properly, but look at it this way.....she never makes a sound, doesn't eat a lot and covers up in the litter box. Maybe she left her meower at the shelter. Anyway I think she's a pretty nice little girl kitty and she's no trouble at all.
