indoors Arrival Story: Misha was rescued from a backyard breeder who was on her way to a pet store with him. He was barely seven weeks old at the time and it was a parking lot purchase....no kidding. I had to save him. He was my first cat here in Kentucky and as far as he is concerned he is my one and only cat. :-) Bio: We lived in Dubai, UAE...Middle East from September 2003 until May 2004 and took Misha and Pasha with us. There was no way Farouk would have stood for being kept in a high-rise apartment so he stayed with the people who lived in our house while we were away. My husband thinks Misha was a very handsome, charming gentleman in another life because he certainly is one now. Think of Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots in "Shrek 2" and you get the picture. Last summer when we put in new counter tops we also installed a special faucet with a high archjust for Misha. He is now able to sit on the counter and get his water directly out of the tap. Misha's birthday is December 21st. So there's a new kitten in the house. What's all the fuss about? I'm still Mom's Best Boy and that's all that matters. I just stole Paisa's special bed so now she has to sleep in my old basket.
We want to let all our friends know that we'll be away for a whole month. Mom and Dad have been packing for the past couple of days and we know what that means....they are leaving on vacation. Mom is very sad because she thinks leaving us for one week is too long. She told us that this is like the volunteers that go to other counties to take care of helpless people....she goes to this place to care for the helpless kitties....and there are many. Anyway, Pasha and I have been there and don't ever want to go back. We will be much happier here at our home.
We will have a very nice young lady staying here with us, but she doesn't know about our Catster friends.....so we won't be able to answer our emails.
Four weeks is a very long time and we shall miss you all a lot. :-(
