Arrival Story:
It was a Sunday night, and I was at a barbecue with a friend hanging out in their backyard. An outdoor cat came walking towards all of us for attention, I immediately began to wonder if it had a home. Seeing this cat looking up at me and brushing against my leg made my realize that I was ready for my first cat. By the time I got home, it was already around 9pm, but I got online and looked at the classifies ads. I found an ad for a 2 month old male silver persian/himalayan. I hesitated to call because of the time, but I was so excited that I called to see if I would get an answer. The bredder told me it was OK if I came down there that night to look at him. When they brought him out he was just waking up from a nap and he was the custest little bundle and at that second I knew he was coming home with me. Once he woke up a little more, he started running around and really seemed to have a great personality too. I wrote my check and was a my way with a little 2 lbs. kitten in a box in passenger side of my truck. He slept by my side the whole first night and I knew that I had made the right decision.
