Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Gotcha Date: September 9th 2002
 Birthday: July 9th 2002
 Coloration: Black

Likes: Being naughty is his favorite activity

Pet-Peeves: Being held too long; being cooped up inside

Favorite Toy: A ball of fabric I wadded up for him; one of those feather-on-a-string deals

Favorite Nap Spot: Anywhere near his sister Amber; on his mama's bed; on his mama's chest as I sleep; & he absolutely loves the kitty cat condo I bought for him & his siblings at Big Lots

Favorite Food: He used to love turkey - that's how he went from being a little guy of 2 lbs to 9lbs almost overnight; most kinds of moist cat food (except tuna, believe it or not!)

Skills: When he's feeling finicky, he woofs like a little dog.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: I was at the pet store just looking & he was the only kitty available. He was the tiniest little black ball of fur I'd ever seen (he was exactly 2 months old that day) & he had little baby white hairs like he was stressed - just like me! Someone had actually bought him over the weekend & returned him 'cuz their cat was too mean w/him so there he was, back again needing a new home. He clung to my shoulder & didn't want me to let him go. When I asked if he was litter trained & the gal said yes, that was my sign to bring him home!

Bio: Travis was born in Ojai, CA on a farm and brought to a local pet store for adoption. He was such a good little baby but isn't as affectionate as he used to be now that he's "matured." He was the first cat whom I gave a Catholic/Lutheran middle name to (his middle name was chosen in honor of St. Michael, the patron saint of all military, firemen. policemen and war.) So after I gave him a middle name, I gave his brother Ajaxx and sister Amber Catholic/Lutheran middle names, too! His adopted brother Mac has 3 Catholic/Lutheran names & of course, his little brother Belmont has his own Catholic/Lutheran name, too!

3/19/13 - My lil' bebe' crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 9 weeks and 5 days ago. That's how I tell time now - how many weeks it's been since Travis left us :( He beat cancer twice - once in December 2011 & again in April 2012 but it came back in December 2012 & settled in his jaw, which prevented him from eating (a huge mass grew up & over his teeth so he'd often rupture it when he'd try to chew so he lost a lot of weight pretty quickly) & he became anemic as well. I tried so hard to keep him with us as long as I could; I even took him to a holistic vet who'd had success in curing animals of inoperable cancers but we didn't have enough time. Travis was given his terminal diagnosis on 12/6/12 & he crossed the Bridge 5 weeks later to the day. I was with him when he gasped his last breaths & I held him in my arms long after he passed. I think about him every day & miss him like crazy. This is the first time I've been back on Catster since he left me - all the Fisher kitties have broken hearts & we miss our lil' bebe' so much that it hurts. At least he's no longer in any pain & I know we'll see him again. I love you, Travis!
