Skills: I can open any door and turn on the water faucet for a drink.
Arrival Story: My mommy was there the minute I was born. She loved me a lot right from the start because I'm real smart, you know, and Mommy knew that right away, so we gets along great. You know what? I'm so smart that I was the first kitten to come out of our nest, and the first to open my eyes. I can get myself a drink too, I can, because Beau likes to put his nasty feets in our waters and I don't like that. So I learned how to turn on the waters thing so I could get a drink. And if I want to see what's inside somewhere or get out of somewhere, I can open the all the doorses. Mommy calls me her special girl.
Bio: When we were livings in the hot place, Florida, the big scary dog next door broke through our door and attacked me! I was so scareds! He grabbed me by my throat and he shaked and shaked me. Mommy was yelling at him and hitting him on his big stupid head to try to make him drop me, but he wouldn't. I thought I was going to die! Mommy did too. She punched that big dumb dog right in his nose and he was so surprised that he dropped me and I ran and ran fast so he couldn't find me. Now, I'm scareds of things a little and I hides a lot when people come around, but I'm so glad Mommy saved me from that dumb dog. I had to go the the scary place and they put 16 stitches in my throat. It hurt a lot. Mommy was really mad at that neighbor.
I haz been on Catster for over two years an' we always noticed all the beautiful Cat of the Day kitties. We never thoughts one of us would ever be one.
Mommy sez if any kitty in the world deserves to be Cat of the Day, it would be me 'cause I was such a special and beautiful soul for the 19 years I took cares of her. Purrrsonally, I think I wuz just doin the job God put me here for. Believes me, Mommy needs a LOT of takin care of!!!
I know she is still hurting and broken-hearteds because I had to go to the Bridge such a short while ago. So, I sent little Cheveyo to take care of her. I also knows that all yew wonderful, caring friends here will look out for her for me.
Still debating whether to adopt Baby Two Socks. His little Marmalade brother has a Mommy already. There is much tugging to and fro. Part of me feels like it is way too soon to even think of another baby. And Alex's mommy is right... it's been 18 years since we had a kitten in our family and we're wondering if we're up to it just now.
And since he's a little boy, we're wondering how it will work out with our Beau. We don't want to be drowning in pee pee with them marking territory. Beau is neutered but he and Honeybear have had episodes of territory marking.
The other part of me fell in love with this little baby the minute I saw him. Both his kitty mama and papa are real little lovey bugs, and his hoomans have 9 kids who will hold him and handle him and get him used to being with hoomans. The whole time I was there, his kitty mama purred and purred, so we think he's got good cuddle genes.
It is hard. It's only been a week since Simmy left. I suppose we have enough time to sort it all out, though. He has to stay with his kitty mama for 8 weeks.
