Arrival Story: Tabby came to live with us when she had no where else to go. She needed a home and we wanted another kitty so it fit. We didn't know how it would work out with Riley being such an Alpha cat and Tabitha being declawed..but now they look for each other and if Riley can't find her he cries out until he does.
She eats an all natural, organic, holistic, human grade diet and gets treats, toys and lots of love in our house. She is a special kitty and get treated as such.
Riley has nails, she does not. He hasn't ever used them on her, he understands somehow and knows he could hurt her. They both are very smart kids.

Bio: Tabitha was not ever really taken care of by her first owner and developed very bad health problems, she was declawed and was kept mostly outside. We aren't quite how she survived, but she did.
Her second owner loved her greatly and was her companion. The vet told her that from what she described happened to Tabby when she was younger, she should of died at least twice. But, Tabitha is a true survior. When her loving human companion passed away suddenly, she went into "foster care" for about 2 months.
Now she lives with us, as part of our family and is one of the kids. We love having her, kiss her head, hug & squeeze her (but only a little because she can't breathe very well). She's very overweight and has breathing problems as a result, but we are trying to work on that. She has arthritis very badly and creaks when she moves so she likes to stay downstairs, mainly to avoid climbing up. She loves to sleep on the kitty-bed on the couch, the blanket on the ottoman or on the rug which gets direct sunlight in the afternoons.
Riley has become a gentleman and shares his beds and toys with her. He tries to play with her (a lot) and it hurts his feelings that she just prefers to sleep or bops him on the head frequently. I look forward to the day when they cuddle together, I hope it happens. Riley tries, all the time, and Tabby puts up with it for a little then she moves away and growls at him.
Owell, at least he hasn't given up trying !!!
