Arrival Story:
My son Alex was being bar mitzvahed and he'd been begging for a cat for years (We already had two). Anyway, we saw Sasha at a pet store -- she was so small she fit in the palm of my hand -- and it was love at first sight! I went back and bought her as a surprise for him. She was too young, really, to be adopted and she began to fail within a few days. So I brought her back to the pet store and they returned her to the breeder for an extra 10 days. When the breeder brought her home to us I took one look at her face and fell in love all over again! My son and daughter have both grown up and moved away and I'm now divorced but Sasha is still with me, bless her!

Bio:
Sasha smells wonderful and has luxurious, silky fur. She can be bipolar -- in younger days, my daughter said that if Sasha was human she might be institutionalized for her crazy mood swings! But now, thanks to age and perhaps a totally quiet environment, she has mellowed. Sure she's still independent and she absolutely loves it when my kids, especially my daughter, come to visit. But I have adapted to this big change in our lives, which thanks to Sasha being around, made it so much more bearable. God bless her! (except when she pees on my new furniture, which thankfully I was able to break her of -- until I go out of town again and must be punished).
