Hello!

I have been begging Mommy to let us come back to Catster. I miss my friends. Things haven’t changed much for me. Mommy is working again – too much in my opinion. It’s been pretty mild this winter, but I still like to spend it sleeping next to the little heater. Sometimes though, I’ll curl up in the Millie bed in front of the window, or steal Hershey’s spot in the heated bed. I hope I’ll hear from some of my friends again if they haven’t forgotten about me.

Happy Holidays!

We just want to take a moment to wish all of our friends happy holidays. This year started out badly but is ending up pretty good. Mom found a full-time job in June and a part-time job in September. Us kitties are doing okay too. Mom is off all next week, so we get to have lots of quality time with her. Enjoy this wonderful time of year! Luv, AnnaDee

We're okay

If we still have any friends left, I just want to let you know that we are okay. Mom's been busy and unmotivated to help us get back to Catster, but hopefully we will be soon. Miss you friends!

I missed my special day!

If it weren't bad enough that Mommy left us all week, she also made me miss my special day! One day late I am getting to the computer. Poo! She has some making up to do!

Anyway, I want to thank all my friends who sent concats. I really do appreciate your reading my diary on my special day and the regular days. I make such few entries it's easy to forget about. I will send you all thank you's as quickly as I can. Right now, I'm off to eat some chicken!

We'll be away next week.

First, I want to thank all our friends who have been sending us rosies. We love all our friends and are sorry we haven't been around a lot to reciprocate. Mom's been depressed, and we can't seem to get her to snap out of it. Rafiki's check up today wasn't great. She just says she wants to spend quiet time with us. I guess that's okay. It's awful quiet here all day though, so I like to come to Catster to play. Maybe she'll feel better after next week. She's going to the beach for a few days. I don't like when she leaves, but maybe she'll be better when she returns. Then we can get back to Catster.

Fur

Several months ago, I started pulling out bits of fur when I groom myself. Mom doesn't really like it. I don't pull from the same place, and I don't have any bare spots or anything, but it bugs her. So just to show her that there's nothing wrong with me, I started grooming Rafiki and pulling his fur out too!

No treats for me.

I am getting really tired of this. Every night, everybody gets treats but me! Benjamin gets his tuna food (with his medicine in it). Rafiki gets food (with medicine in it). Hershey gets to eat some of Benjamin's prescription food (what a weirdo). I get nothing! Mom says I have to be on a diet like her. Well, she can be on a diet if she wants, but I didn't sign up for no stinkin' diet! I'm starving!

Mom says I need to exercise too, but I don't like to move. I don't like to chase toys. I don't like to climb the cat tree. I like to relax. Mom says she doesn't know how to make me get moving.

I wish she would just let me enjoy my food, but she says I will develop health problems. I guess I don't want any health problems, but I don't feel like exercising, and I don't want to give up my food. What to do?

Thank you to my anonymous friend who gave me a bright, blue ribbon as part of the 'Best in Show game' in the Plus forums. Unfortunately, I cannot join in the fun right now, as I am not a plus member. However, as soon as that changes, I will get right back to it!

Six years ago

Six years ago today, I came here to my furever home. Hershey came too. We celebrate today as our birthdays. Can't believe so much time has gone by. Where does the time go?

Today is a good day for a birthday because Mommy is off. We've gotten lots of attention, a new toy, 'Da Bird', and we are set to get some tuna later on. Yum! I'm kind of scared of the toy, but maybe when I can check it out when Hershey and Rafiki aren't bouncing all over trying to get it, I'll like it too. For now, I'll just watch.

I got to sleep with Mommy again!

I got to sleep with Mommy again the other night. It's been many, many months now that Rafiki and Hershey would not let me come up on the bed with them. They are evil. They used to, but Hershey's been getting quite obnoxious about the whole thing. Well, I guess now it's getting too hot for them, so I got Mommy all to myself. I know Mommy was glad too. She just couldn't figure out how to make those two behave, so I had to go sleep elsewhere. :-( Hopefully I'll have her all to myself all summer long.
