Dearest Fellow Catsters.

I have already told this story to my friend Bosco. However, I have come to realise that I would like to share this story with as many cats as possible.

Two weeks ago my sister Nicola told me what had happened at work that particular day. A colleague of hers a Post Graduate student found a group of about five kittens near a car park at the local university where she works. Her colleague waited for about two hours with the kittens to see if their Mother would turn up. Unfortunately, Mother did not turn up (I hope Mother is OK). So the student got a box and placed the five kittens inside and took it to her office, after she had taken them to the local animal sheltar to have them checked out. Where we found out the kittens were about 5-6 weeks old.

Well lots of people visited her colleague that afternoon and by the time that she had finished work all five kittens had new home. The Post Graduate student took one of the kittens home. Last night I saw a photograph of 'Isobel' she looks like she is a tortoise shell. She is still very small and looks like she can just fit in the palm of your hand. However, according to another observer she has put on weight.

Dearest Fellow Catsters.

Here I am dictating this message to one of my secretaries. Yes I Garfield of England would like to say thankyou to all the catster members who have welcomed me with open paws. I have a very good friends in the following cats Bosco, Selket, Cole and Jacques. Selket is the lady of the four and she is very wise and must have tremendous patience.

I have also joined the following groups BOCU, the three amigos and against animal cruelty. So I am ready to MEOW out loud on an international scale for animals around the world.

There is a rumour in my house that I arrived during a meteor shower. My secretaries have also mentioned the fact that they have seen other cats look as if they was communicating with a Mother ship. Through I do not know exactly what they mean by that. I do not think that my Mother looks like a ship. May be I have more common sense than them.

I have already mentioned this to Mr Jeebus that I think that we Orangies have some connection with a country called the Netherlands. Due to the fact that orange is their national colour. May be I should have one of my secretaries write a letter to the Dutch government asking if BOCU members and at least one of their slaves/parents or guardians be invited to the Netherlands. No harm in asking.

Many of my above mentioned friends are in the Forum thread known as the Foreign Legion. This is for all of us misfits. It is a very entertaining forum me and another member have suggested the idea of a Hells Angel/transport core of the legion. Afterall we need wheels to get about. May be I should also develop wings as in order to attend any meetings I have to cross an ocean and I cannot swim.

I was thinking back to an event which happened a few months ago.
Something, frightened me. It was as if the earth was squeaking. I would not settle down. I tried to tell my humans that the earth was making weird noises. However, they did not pay any attention to me! So I just did not settle. Then about 1am it happened. The house shook! It shook! It was as if a big giant had hold of it and was shaking it. I guess that was the reason for the funny noises I heard earlier and thought that I must tell my humans the following morning. Apparently, they had felt nothing. When I went outside to check that the giant had left everything in order. All appeared fine.

But I still could not understand it all. Was it just some part of a weird kitty dream. Some of my humans then went on their way to a place called 'work'. I would love to know where this is, and why they have to go there almost five days a week. Going almost at exactly the same time in the morning and for the most part arriving at similar times in the evening.

Anyway, going back to the giant. My humans arrive back from this place called work and they talked about something called an earthquake having happened the previous night. Most mysterious. Still does not explain the funny loud noises.
