Arrival Story:
When I was a kitten I lived in a foster home for men with Alzheimer's disease. I was much too active and I would not sit still for anyone to pet me, so it was no longer a good idea for me to live there. My owners were going to take me to the local shelter, but a lady (my new grandma) whose husband was a patient there took me home with her instead. When my mom purchased her own condo after her father passed away, I moved with her because I didn't get along well with grandma's other cats Bitsy, Molly, and Panda. (If only they understood that even though I was the baby, I was the boss!) I'm sweet kitty when I'm the only cat, but I do not play well with others.
Bio:
I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism in April 2008. I was treated with radioactive iodine (I-131) at Animal Medical Clinic in Palm Bay, FL. As of July 2008 my thryroid level is normal, and I am maintaining my weight.

Today my Mum stayed home with me all day because there was a tropical storm. We both took long naps. It was great to spend the day snuggling together. But I got worried that my Mum was sleeping too much, so I woke her up by meowing loudly and howling. Now that she's awake, I'm going to take another nap on the clean laundry.
