Arrival Story: I found him in our back yard when he was about 7 weeks old - just a scared little fur ball who needed a home. Needless to say, he's been here ever since
Bio: Cory is a very sweet kitty. He has big, beautiful eyes and a cute pudgy nose. His tail is very long and crooked, and his whiskers go on for days. He's clumbsy, goofy, and a real ham
Lives Remaining: 9 of 9
Forums Motto: Coo Coo Ca Choo
Home Sweet Home: Cory, along with Jade, lives in a shed in our back yard. It is fully carpeted with two windows and two doors. We've installed a cat door for the winter months, and a hanging fan for those hot summer days. There are a handful of cat beds along with a king sized comforter, and not to mention plenty of toys and boxes to play with. They may be outside kitties, but they are definitely spoiled!
Hurricane Irene hit the east cost pretty hard this past weekend. We were out of water and electric for two days, but luckily, my family saw no major flooding or damage. I know many folks were not as fortunate as us. I work at a pet resort/boarding facility; seeing the heartbreak in each owner's eyes was devastating. Of course, they were in good hands with us, but I can't imagine the feeling of evacuating my property, and on top of that, not being able to take my babies with me! I'll continue to keep them in my thoughts and prayers, I hope the rest of you will do the same
