My friend owned a cattery. One of her champion Himalayans ran out the door when someone came in...(she was in a "romantic" mood)...the results was one little dilute calico longhaired kitty who came to live at my house. She has been a part of my heart for 21 years now.
Bio:
Peanut was 21 on July 30, 2008. She came to live at our house when she was 6 weeks old. She has been healthy, happy, and loved.
She's getting a bit fraile now and is deaf, but she's tough....all little bitty 3 pounds of her. Four years ago our son passed away.
She knew I was sad and would get up in my lap and lick the tears off
my face. There's a photo on her profile of our son holding her.
There's also one of my white-headed Hubby holding her. There is a
photo of me, too. I'm her Mama. There's also a photo of Peanut's 1st cousin, Noel. Noel is our daughter's furbaby...my 1st grand-kitty.

Dear Diary, My Mama is writing this for me. You see, my little 21 year-old body just gave out. I went to the Rainbow Bridge at 1:00 PM Central time this afternoon in the loving presence of my Mama and Daddy. I also loved my Vet., Dr. Russ Simpkins. He was so gentle with me. He gave me a shot to make me unaware, because he said the IV he would have to use would hurt me. I silently left my Mama and Daddy and went toward the Bridge. Please my friends, comfort my Mama and Daddy. I have been with them since I was 6 weeks old. I left them after 21 years, 2 months, and 6 days. I was loved! I thank you all for helping make my final time here special. Peanut

Dear Diary,
I wet to the Vet. I have gained a pound. Yea ME!!! All that prednisone makes me eat like a piggy. Otherwise, I am the same...today I am 21yrs., 1, month, and 1 week old. Mama has to give me electrolytes in Ringer's solution on Wednesday and Friday of this week...that means an IV...ooooh Noooooooo. TheVet. gave it today and showed my Mama how to do it. Gotta go eat...that predisone is kicking in. Headbonks, Peanut

Dear Diary, I gained 8 ounces....Hurrah!!!! That's quite a difference when you only weighed 3 pounds 3 days ago. The medicine is helping my appetite, and I am moving around better. I go back to the doctor on Monday. And guess what!? My Mama is ordering Catster Plus, so soon I will have some music and other cool stuff on my profile.
