Arrival Story:
Sarah came into my girlfriends life back in 1994 when she was very young. She belonged to a neighbor that did not take good care of her. They moved and left her behind so my girlfriend took her in. Rebekah (my girlfriend), had already been feeding her for a while, so Sarah knew who's door to go to when she got left behind. Sarah was sick when Rebekah took her in, ear mites, respiratory infection, and she was blind in her left eye. Rebekah took her to the vet and got her well and of course had her spayed. I have been in her life since 2001. Rebekah had 3 cats when I came along. Sarah and I have really bonded, probably more so then she and Rebekah ever did. We have lost the other two babies within the past 3 years. Sarah was very close to them both. All three of them had been together for 12 years. Sarah was an only child for a very short time when we took in a mama and her babies. We still have the mama and 3 of her babies. Sarah is not happy about that!

Bio:
Sarah has been very sick for the past 3 years. She was in the hospital 3 years ago and almost died. The vet said she was their miracle kitty. She hasn't been the same since then. She doesn't play anymore and we have a hard time keeping weight on her. She is on a couple different medications and will be the rest of her life. She was in the hospital again this past March, 2008. She is a fighter though. She is so sweet even though she feels bad most of the time.
