Leatherjackets taste good too (Wriggly!). I also sampled some of the leaves around the garden. Mitzi and the others are so unadventurous - for them it is grass or nothing. Some of the other leaves are delicious (Crunchy!).
Almost managed to glean some Tandoori Chicken from HIS plate. (Well, if they will look the other way.) Stopped by HER.
Episode 2......
So Mitzi and I ended up in this room that was much bigger than the bedroom. SHE was there almost all the time. Good food, nice box, places to climb, lots of toys. I found it a bit scarey but Mitz, well she was Mitz. I think I missed Bella more than she did.
Then SHE noticed that Mitzi ate loads and whizzed about but was, well like a skin-covered skeleton. About time one of the humans noticed, none of them at the other place did. Have to say, SHE tried everything. Better food, kitten milk, feeding us every two hours, trips to THE VET. Touch and go there. (Life without Mitzi - that would be weird.)
Something worked. Mitzi made it.

Discovered earthworms yesterday. Very chewy. Tasty.
Haven't felt my best the last week. SHE panicked and dragged me off to THE VET. Not my favourite person, THE VET. Sticks me with needles and took two bits away that I was beginning to get fond of. At least this time Mitzi recognised me when I got back - last time she went off in a hissy fit.
HE thinks its the heat. SHE thinks it was something I ate (As if!). THE VET stuck needles in me. Whatever, I feel better now and played chase with Mitzi this morning. Also managed to get a butterfly and eat it in record time (Result!).
Sudden thought: you may not know who I am. Won't bore you with all of it at once, but here is episode 1.
My mum was a Bronze Egyptian Mau and my dad a silver Egyptian Mau. She abandoned me and my brother at 4 weeks. Luckily Bella the Bengal took us in, even though she has six kittens of her own. That's when I first met Mitzi. Mitzi was the only girl out of the eight of us. We all lived in one room and it was great fun.
One day SHE and HE arrived with a big maroon crate. They were only interested in Mitzi. I locked my brother in the wardrobe to reduce the competition and did my stuff. SHE held out for all of five minutes, then Mitzi and I were on our way to our new home.
