Arrival Story:
My husband's coworker convinced us that cats are an ideal pet, and referred us to her vet (the office get strays brought in throughout the year). We went to visit a litter that was a few weeks old, where only three remained: one tortoise shell girl, and two gray boys. We intended on adopting one of the boys, who looked identical... except one had a tiny white speck on his nose. We picked him, but when we saw him and the girl playing and chasing each other around in the visiting room, we just didn't have the heart to break them up. So home they both came!
Bio:
Smokey is a charmer. He's a handsome devil, and very social. We also thought his sister, Ashes, was the brave one, until we adopted Brodie, our new doggie. He was the first to start sniffing Brodie through his crate, then Brodie himself, and now he uses his wagging tail as a toy!
