Arrival Story:
*MAY 14TH 2005* Today, Miss Kitty went across the Rainbow Bridge. She was done suffering. We miss her terribly. I'm keeping her on here so I can share her life with you all. ANOTHER UPDATE! 4/29-- She had x-rays done on Monday and she had a large tumor on her bowel and it was making her uncomfortable. We could either put her down or have surgery. We opted for the surgery and she's under the knife as I type. The mass is large but she thinks she can get it all out, she may have to cut some of the intestines because it's attached but then she can reattach it. The will send it for biopsy so pray it isn't malignant! *UPDATE* 5-5-05 Well, she has been to the vet 4 times since April 19th because she stopped eating. She had x-rays done, blood work, and she had a large mass removed from her small bowel Friday, and she stayed at the vet over the weekend. They sent it for biopsy and she has lymphosarcoma. =( The doctor said it probably has spread. We're going to get her prednisone tomorrow to help buy her time and discuss it further on Monday when we get her staples removed. We don't want to do chemo, since the cost of that runs from 100s-1000s and the doctor said she's never seen them make it to the one year mark. Pray for my baby! =( I'll attach some good pictures and some of her in her "recovery chamber" 2 years after my moms siamese, Bubba, passed away, we went to the pet store to get Miss Kitty. We just wanted a cat, we weren't picky. We had her declawed and spayed and the rest is history!
