Arrival Story:
CROSSED THE RAINBOW BRIDGE January 13, 2009 ---------------------------------- -- Mercy came into my life in 1990 when she was probably around six months old, when I lived in Show Low, Arizona. Mercy showed up on the doorstep of a family who lived at the end of a long street in the forest and their only other neighbors only had one old dog. The family where Mercy showed up had no cats. She was a tiny kitten when they first saw her. They fed her but didn't belive in letting cats in the house, and asked me if I wanted her. Mercy is a joyous fun girl with a short tail....courtesy of a truck fan belt when she was staying at these people's house. She also has a sternum that is pushed in, I suspect from the fan belt incident. I don't know that she was truly a feral but there sure was no logic for how she came to be where she was at. And she was a tiny, tiny kitten when she first showed up. Six months later when I met her she had rosebuds for ears and was still very small. I'm not so sure Mercy isn't a forest sprite.

Bio:
Mercy's motto is stolen from Auntie Mame, "Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death." Her greatest joy was when women would come over to visit. We'd be drinking coffee, having dinner, visiting and she would always be there, joining in the conversation.

Forums Motto:
Life is a Banquet
