I've been tagged!

My friend Kody tagged me with five questions and answers:

1) What is your favorite Olympic Sport?
I wasn't home with mommy at all to watch the Olympics this year, but my grammy told her I was really into the swimming and diving and would sit on the ottoman staring at the movement, imagining how I was going to catch them inside the TV.

2) What do you prefer Summer or Winter?
I love the summer because I go to grammy's every year, where I get to sit in the sunroom chasing the birdies and standing on my hind legs with my front paws over the couch (a bad habit I learned from my Uncle Max, grammy's dog).

3)What is the quirkiest thing you do?
When mommy takes me to visit my grandparents, I like to sit in the kitchen's box window, put my front paws down below on the sink, and drink from the faucet. I will stand there and cry until someone turns the water on.

4) Do you have a crush on any other kitties?
I'm actually afraid of other kitties, and I'm afraid to meet my new sister Yogurt this weekend.

5) What is your favorite rosette or zealie and why?
I really like the beach ball because I love chasing anything that rolls :D

Summer's almost over

Hello, again!

I'm just here to update about my recent visits with mommy. She came to grammy's two weekends ago for a family wedding - at first I was upset and wouldn't let her pet me, being mad that she had abandoned me all summer. But then I remembered that I am having a fun time at grammy's, and eventually I let her cuddle with me again. I even slept next to her on a pillow that night.

Then this past weekend, she came to grammy's again because she missed me, and this time she brought daddy! I wasn't nearly as excited to see him as I was my mommy. My grandparents weren't happy because I started up my annoying habit of meowing for mommy from wherever I am in the house - but she always answers! I was upset because she was sitting outside by the pool with daddy, so I stood by the screen door and yelled for her. It's something I do only when she's around because I constantly want her attention.

Max (grammy's dog) has been teaching me some of his bad habits. The two of us sit on the sunroom couch together with our paws on the back so we can see what's going on outside. We usually fight for space, though. I always win after I smack him on the nose.

I get to go home to mommy and daddy's new apartment in a couple weeks! I'm sad because I like being at grammy's, with all those stairs and space for me to run around in, and grammy tells me horror stories of the loud trains that go by the new apartment - I don't like loud noises :( Hopefully the big windows mommy promises me will be enough to make up for it. But I miss my mommy and can't wait to be cuddled all the time again.

A Summer Update

Hello, everyone!

I am writing from the comforts of Grammy's house, where I'm spending the summer while my mom moves into her new apartment with dad. Dad's roommate, who will be moving soon, is apparently allergic to me :( But that's okay, because I get to take a summer vacation!

I've been spending my days at my grandparents' house, running up and down the stairs and sleeping in my favorite window. They have a sun room on the back of the house where I can run around, chasing the chipmunks and birdies who live around the place. I LOVE windows! The one thing I DON'T love about Grammy's is their Bichon Frise, Max. But it's fun to chase him around and sometimes slap him in the face when he gets on my nerves.

Hopefully, I will be moving back in with mommy in September! I'm nervous because I've never seen this new apartment, but mommy promises me there are plenty of windows for me to sit in and there are actually three steps for me to play on! I can't wait to see her again - she's the only one I let pick me up and cuddle with me, and I miss her!
