Smokey chose us. We were walking through the pet smart in Missoula MT and this homely looking kitty stood up against the glass and head butted the glass as we walked by... I was sold! Little did we know, this would have been Smokey's last chance. When we went down to the county shelter to pay for her adoption, they told us that she was scheduled to be euthanized, she had already been there for over three months! It broke my heart to know that such a sweet girl would have been put down. We then had to drive with her from MT to CA (we were just visiting MT, but i had to have her) That homely liking young kitty grew into a beautiful cat.

The human may actually do something right

So... this past week i have overheard the humans talking about getting "the dog" fixed. Let me say it is about time.... That thing has been broken ever since it got here. It hops around and barks at us all the time... and in the evenings when i am trying to sleep.. it howls!!! So i wonder what they are going to fix? are they going to zap her energy levels... or take out her barking machine... hummm a ktty can only wish for both. Maybe they will trade it in for a fish... ummm i like fish.
