Pirate Day and Cat of the Day!!!!

Today seems the purrrrrfect day to begin a diary!!

My name is Keller. All cats are special, of course, so I won't say I'm a special kitty. But I am a bit different from most cats because I am blind. I live in North Carolina at the Blind Cat Rescue and Sanctuary. I'll write more about it later in another entry.

'Cause today I want to celebrate Pirate Day!!!! Argggghhh! I've had fun being a pirate this week. I've helped my Sanctuary friends create pirate pictures - with the help of Catster Meowmy, of course. I've give special pirate flags and pirate gatos to my Catster friends. And best of all ------
I've said ARRRRRRGH!!!! a lot! (I like saying ARRRRRRRRGH!!!!!)

When I got up this morning, my photo was on the front page of Catster!!!! I'm Cat of the Day!!!!!! Wow!!! ME?? Thank you so much, Catster HQ, for this honor. The best part for me is that maybe even more Catster folks will read about the Rescue & Sanctuary. That would be wonderful!!!!

Lots and lots of friends, old and new, have left rosettes, pirate flags, pirate gatos, etc. for me already. I promise, promise, promise to thank each of you personally, but Catster Meowmy must go to work right now. (I understand that work is very, very important 'cause it buys cat food for Catster Meowmy's cats at home. And it pays for her to sponsor two of us here at the Rescue. So she must go to this place called 'work'.)

For now, please know that I appreciate your kind words and gifts from the bottom of my little kitty heart.
