Update on my first year of life...

Hi Tabitha fans... foster mom just added a new picture of me with my sister Izzie at 1 year...! We are happy girls. Read the update our forever parents sent below....

Dear Mommy Linda, Daddy Steve, Joe, Marlee, Mommy Chantelle, Daddy Eric, Uncle Tig and all our Kitten Rescue friends,

We are both one year old and we are big girls now. We are very independent and don't sleep with our forever mommy and daddy any more. We like to roam the house at night and look out the windows for night critters. In the morning we like to nap and then eat crunches. We're not too crazy about wet food and recently refuse to eat it no matter what mommy tries. We are very good at ignoring her until we want a treat. In the last few days, mommy has been cleaning out the storage closet. It is first time we ever saw what was behind the secret door. We explored and smelled lots of new stuff. Isabelle jumped in and out of boxes and Tabatha shredded packing paper. Boy, was it fun. We still love to play and chase each other around the house. We are very fast runners. We hope you like the picture of us napping. Mommy told us about your new foster kitties. Remember when we were that small? We don't remember but we have pictures to remind us. Issibelle and I - Forever Sisters and Friends Already!!!

Hello Everyone -

The time finally came on Saturday! I was finally able to meet my little sister Issibelle and I have to tell you she is just the best! I could never have imagined that I would have such a wonderful forever sister!!!!

Just as I thought I growled and hissed a little at Izzie when I met her. I think older sisters need to let their little sisters know who is boss so it just seemed like the right thing to do! Luckily for me... and my parents... Issabelle basically ignored me and just took my little growls and hissses in stride. I knew when she didn't react to me that we were going to be friends. And, we are... we started playing together almost instantly and now we are just the tightest and best friend foreve sisters ever!

Of course... I have pictures to show all of you about how much we love on another! The two pictures I just added to my page of me and Izzie on our cat tree say it all!!!! I am so happy that I get to live with my forever parents and with my little Issibelle! I am just the luckiest girl ever!!!

LOVING!!! My new home!

Hi Tabitha Fans -

Just want to let you know that I am doing terrific in my new home. My forever dad and I spend so much time together since he is retired and my forever mom just loves me so much! I am totally relaxed now and feeling at home. I think pretty soon I am going to be ready to be upgraded to the entire house....Wow... won't that be fun!

A couple of night ago my forever sister Isabella moved into the house. I haven't met her yet, but I know my foster mom and dad are coming over tomorrow and they are going to help my forever parents introduce me to her. I just know we are going to be the best of friends... even if I hiss at her the first time I see her... Anyway, because my parents got my sister I got to sleep alone with my dad in the bed (my mom slept in a different room with Izzie). And, I loved it!!!! I snuggled up with him and just purrred, and purred... I was nice to get to cuddle with him and have all of the room I wanted on the bed at the same time... I bet all four of us... my parents and my sister and I will soon be sleeping together... that will be fun too... but, there is nothing like snuggling up with my daddy!

My foster mom has loaded a new pictures that my parents took of me in my new house. This is the picture on my page where I am looking out the window. I have only been in my forever home for a week but I have grown up a lot!

Went to My New Home TODAY!

Well... the day finally came for me to go to my new home! My new home is much, much larger than my foster home and I just know I am going to love it and love my forever mom and dad once I get used to everything and feel comfortable. I already love my new mom and dad so very much... but, I am a little overwhelmed by my good fortune. Given this, I decided to spend my first day in my new home in a quite way... sleeping and laying low... I think it is much easier to get used to everything this way instead of running all around. I am going to save running around and celebrating for or tomorrow or the next day... when I kind of know my way around a little more. Then.. just wait... I am going to run, jump, romp, and play like crazy!! It will just be the best and I know my parents will love it!!!

Oh yeah... I get to keep my NAME! So... my forever name is going to be Tabitha! I am a lucky girl indeed... I just love my name and it suits me to a tee!!!

Saturday is my Adoption Day!

Yeah! My foster mom just told me this morning that I am getting to go to my new home on Saturday! I am so excited! I really want to have my own home, especially now that Pepper and the rest of babies have found thier own homes! My forever home is really close by to my foster parents house so I won't be too far away! I am really happy about that because I might get to see my foster parents ever so often. Especially at the beginning when my new parents are learning things like how to clip my nails, etc. My foster mom tells me that I am moving into a large home and that I will have plenty of room to roam and lots of toys. I get a mom and a dad and a forever sister kitty in my new home. I am a very lucky girl! And, best of all my forever dad is retired so I get to spend a lot of time with him. I am so looking forward to bonding with my new parents! I just know living with them is going to be the best!!! Sending out lots of love -Tabitha : )

A new forever home for me and a new forever sister!!!

I have been waiting for my turn... especially after Pepper found her forever home and it finally came just before Pepper left to move into her own forever home. I HAVE BEEN FOUND AND AM GOING TO GET MY VERY OWN FOREVER PARENTS!!! Even better... I am going to get a forever sister of my own. Last weekend my adoptive parents meet me at an adoption event and feel in love with me and another kitten Tabbilina that was also at the event... She is very cute tabby kitty just like me... (though I am double best since I am a Torbie...). So.. after just a few days.... they decided they can't live without either of us (that is Tabbilina and me) and they are going to adopt both of us. I know I will be living with my foster parents for about a week and a half more though before I go to my new home because Tabbilina still needs to be spayed...It is all very exiciting... I don't know many of other details right now... my foster mom has to coordinate with Tabbiliana's foster mom, but I will write more in my diary as soon as I know anything.
