Meowlo Catster Pals!
It's been quite some time since I've been allowed on Catster! Daddy's latest obsession uses up most of the computer time playing games and the dreaded FACEBOOK!
Everyone here is just fine... TomTom and Barnaby included!
Dad will be getting more involved with Catster once again since Barnaby and I voiced our meows about his lack of updating our pages!
Now for the REAL reason I'm posting today!!
About 5 or six months ago, Daddy sent Cat Fancy pictures of all of us to see if they would publish them. Well, the March 2010 edition came on Saturday... (rather TWO of them) and Dad sat down to read it. This was the first edition he didn't bother to look in the back to see if any of our pictures were in it.
Well, lo and behold!! Daddy JUMPED from the couch and yelled "Willow... you're FAMOUS!"
In the reader's submitted photos was the caption "Cozy Kitties" and there I am at the top of the page!! The picture they used is on my profile... the one where I'm laying on my back and looking at the camera. Everyone got so excited!! I do think that Barnaby is a little jealous from all of the attention though! :)
So you can see why I demanded that Daddy let me have MY computer time so I could tell all my Catster friends!
You can be sure that we'll be back with updated pages and information soon. I hope that all our buddies on Catster are having a great New Year and that everyone is in good health!
Love and licks to all!
^Willow^ :)

Meowlo, everyone!
As most of you know, I'm the energetic one of the bunch. I'm a constant talker and pretty much want something to keep me busy at all times, be it food, a toy, daddy, Barnaby, TomTom... anything!
The other day Daddy came home from work and we all rushed to the door to greet him as usual. Then we do our usual going nuts, playing, doing our litterbox activities (Daddy is sure we do lots of sleeping while he's at work).
While he was coming upstairs, I was in one of the rooms getting ready to do my "business" in the box. Daddy turned the corner and out I came from the room running with a little "poop" on my bum! It fell off and rolled on the floor. MOL.
Then daddy went into the room and noticed there were two other "poops" on the floor right in front of the litter box. They looked fine and there was no evidence of worms or any type of problems that he could see.
Daddy's heart sank. He immediately remembered Little Bo Peep, who had litter box problems most of her life and it was pretty much determined that they were due to neurological problems from having a possible liver shunt.
You see... my daddy considers me his "little girl". He has a special place in his heart for me (he told me! MOL) because I'm the only girl now and I fill a small part of his heart that belongs to Bo Peep.
Well... he didn't sleep well that night and kept checking all around the house to see if I had any accidents and there were none. The next day (yesterday), when Daddy came home, he ran upstairs to check and the litterboxes were all empty from the morning (because we sleep all day). Shortly after he got home, we all started our "routines" and I went in the litter box and did all my business just fine! I even hit the box this morning before he left.
He gave me such a big kiss and hug this morning... knowing that I probably got startled or something and a couple poops pushed out on my way out of the box! After all, they don't call me the "Energizer Kitty" for nothin!
Whew! Daddy says we're worse than non-fur children at times! MOL
Till next time!
Love and purrrs,
^Willow^

Meowlo everyone!
Believe it or not, a few weeks ago I had to make my FIRST annual visit to see Dr. Oster!
My dads were on staycation (vacation at home! MOL), and they got a postcard that said it was time for both TomTom and I to go to the vet..... so my dads made two appointments. One for me and one for TomTom the next day.
Now, when I was a kitty.. I LOVED going to see Dr. Oster! I would cry for a short bit in the car, but then calm down and be the perfect little lady the entire time.
WELL! What a difference a year makes! My dad's didn't expect to have any problems with me, but still did the feliway (sp?) spray just in case. I headed out the door in the cage and was loaded into the backseat with my one dad while the other one drove. Dr. Oster's office is about 10 minutes away, so it's not a long drive.
One the car started moving, I got very scared and very verbal. I was banging my head against the cage door, digging up the soft liner and crying like mad! My daddy did his best to to calm me down, but there was no way I was going to.
Within that 10 minutes, my panic escalated to the point of constant crying and then right before we got to the vets, I started panting. Daddy got extremely nervous seeing me in that state. He was reminded of BoBo's last day when she was so stressed and panting... and later on that day, she was gone.
I calmed down a bit when we got out of the car, but was still worked up a bit. When Dr. Oster came into the room, she immediately noticed that I wasn't in a very good mood.. MOL. The exam was a quick one along with my shots. I didn't want to be handled, but wanted to check out the room! I was given a clean bill of health (except that the Dr. thought I might be a little bit overweight... shhhh.. please don't tell Barnaby since I get on him about his weight!)
The ride home wasn't much better... and it's actually making daddy think seriously about me going back to the vet each year. He's not too keen on the shots and even less keen on the stress the ride gave me. He's going to talk to Dr. Oster in October when Barnaby goes in for his visit about whether or not I should go back every year or maybe enticing Dr. Oster to come visit US once a year! We'll see. Either way, I do love Dr. Oster, but hate the car ride!
TomTom did better than I did, but still was a bit stressed during the drive. He did a lot of howling and meowing, but calmed down when they got to the vet. The Dr. mentioned that TomTom might be a bit overweight too.... the same as I am... about a pound. Based on the amounts of food we eat, Dr. Oster said not to do anything about cutting down on our diets or anything like that. And we're all pretty active kitties... so daddy is going to try to make us even a little MORE active!
This past weekend, my daddies were outside working on the yard. Every once in a while they let us out on the front porch because we love it so! It's a small enclosed porch with screens all around, so there's no chance of us getting out. We LOVE to sit on the sills and bask in the sun! While we were out there, my dad noticed something on my bum that looked like a couple pieces of hay. He thought nothing of it and tried to brush it off. Two days later we were on the porch and he saw it again! He picked one off my bum and it MOVED! It was a WORM! ACK!
He checked his kitty vet book and there was a picture of a cat's bum with the same worm on it... a TAPEWORM! OMC! As he read on, he saw that it's quite common for outdoor kitties and kitties who have fleas. Well! I'm not an outdoor kittie and I don't have fleas or eat rodents. Daddy called the vets and they said I could have eaten a flea on the porch or by an open window! They gave daddy a BIG pill and a half of Drontal. That was an experience.. MOL. I gave my daddies a hard time getting it down. Oh, how I wish Barnaby would have filmed it for Catster... MOL.
Everything is fine now...no more nasties coming out of my bum! Hopefully, that won't happen again.
If any of our friends reads this diary, daddy would love your input on yearly vet trips for us since we're indoor kitties. As you probably know, Maggie and Bernie only went to the vet as kitties and they lived to be 15-1/2 and 17. Daddy doesn't like the shots, but the vet said by law we have to have rabies shots.
Hope everyone is having a nice summer! I'm off to crawl under the throw on the couch. No sun today! :(
Love and purrs,
wormless ^Willow^

Meowlo, everyone!!
Today is a VERY special day at our house! It's my big brother Barnaby's SECOND birthday! No wonder he's been strutting all around the house this morning like he OWNS it! Little does he know that *I* do! MOL!
Also, one year ago today was my GOTCHA day! My daddies can't believe that I've been here a year already... but I can. :)
The house is nuts... it's a beautiful day here so Daddy has ALL the windows open and TomTom, Barnaby and I are going crazy with all the nice cool breezes, sun and all of the TOYS all over the house! The first thing Daddy did when he woke up this morning was give us all big kisses and empty the toy jars all around the house! There's mice, tinsel balls and crinkle balls all over the place... we can hardly contain ourselves!
Off to celebrate some more! Daddy's uploading some new pictures for our pages.
Have a GREAT Saturday, everyone! And Brofur Barnaby... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Love and purrs,
^Willow^

Hi everyone!!!
Well, TomTom and I are officially no longer kitties!! Believe it or not, today is our birthday! Well, it's officially my birthday... we know that for sure, because the lady that dropped me off at the shelter gave them my birth date, but TomTom wasn't so lucky.
The people at the shelter told my daddies that TomTom was born in late May... but! When the vet saw that both of our teeth were falling out at the same time, she said TomTom was a least a month younger than what they said..... so my daddies decided to share my birthday with him!
No matter there! We were both showered with kisses this morning (and even Barnaby was too!) and my daddy gave us morning TREATS, which never happens!
He also put down a few hundred toys and spread them all over the house so that we could have fun all day long.... but.. it's dark and rainy here.. so we might just all nap... MOL
I sure don't feel any older... but daddy told me I'm loosing my kitty "look". When he told me that, I put on "pretty face".. and he took it back right away! MOL
Love and purrs,
^Willow^
PS- Happy Birthday, TomTom!!!

Happy Easter!!
I hope that everyone had a great holiday filled with lots of toys and treats!
One of my dads has a friend that has a pet kiosk in one of the local malls. He usually only stocks DOG stuff (I have NO idea why... everyone KNOWS that kitties need and deserve MORE things than dogs... MOL). He gave my daddy a catalog that they could order things from and only have to pay the cost... so my dads went NUTS! MOL
Well, the order came in last week and my dad brought home whole canisters of our favorite toys! We now have tons of mylar crinkle balls and tinsel balls! We also got a round wooden box that is covered with material and has holes on the top. Inside are three balls that we try to get out thru the holes. Well, the three of us had all the balls out of it within two minutes!
The funniest thing was, my daddies got us a BOX of fur mice! There are 100 mice in the box that looks like a slice of cheese. My dads gave us about 5 of each of the new toys.. and we went nuts! In all the craziness, my dad left the box of mice on the kitchen counter by mistake. They went out to the store and when they came home... the house was FILLED with mice! They figured it had to be either Barnaby or myself, since TomTom is not a big jumper like we are. Well, the box was on the floor and there were about 10 left in it. The rest of the mice were scattered ALL over the house! MOL MOL
Well, they searched around and gathered up about 3/4 of them (the rest we hid!!) So.. there's quite a reserve of fur mice around for us to play with. The only problem is, we hid them so well, sometimes we never find them! Yesterday, my dad ran the broom under the stove to see if there were any under there... and guess what!? He pulled out about 50 MORE mice! So, they found one of our best hiding places.
Now to find a new one... MOL.
Anyway.. it was a GREAT first Easter for TomTom and I... and I'm sure Barnaby had fun too!
Until next time!
Love and purrrs,
^Willow^

Meowlo everyone!!
April Fools was a LOT of fun this year! At the suggestion of a furriend, I recently joined a group called Orange and White and We Look Alike! They are a fun group and had planned an April Fools joke yesterday. The moderators of the group matched us all up with other members as to who they thought we looked most like. We were to borrow one of their pictures and use them as our picture for the day to see if we could "fool" anyone.
I was matched up with Sammy... a handsome Orange and White kitty. Who did I fool? This is the funny thing... my other daddy!! LOL! My one dad had my profile up with Sammy's picture as the main picture. My other dad came into the room and looked at my profile and said "When was this picture taken?" MOL MOL
It really was fun... if you're a creamsicle like me and are looking for a group to try, definitely give this group a try!
Well, it's a sunny day and we all know I LOVE to lay in the sun on my back.. so I'm off!
Love and purrrrrs,
^Willow^

Meowlo everyone!
Daddy's been having fun this week with all of our pages! He's added music, some Easter falling objects and thanks to our friend Lucy, he borrowed the idea of adding guestbooks!
Please take a minute to visit our pages when you get a chance and let us know what you think!
Have a great weekend everyone! I'm off to lay in the sunny window upstairs. ;)
Love and purrrs,

Meowlo everyone!!
Wow! It's been quite a while since we've been on Catster! I hope all of our friends here are in good health! We've missed you.
Everyone is doing fine and they've all been following my orders and instructions! MOL... after all, I am the RULER of our house!
We're all a little older and larger than when we were last here. Next month, TomTom and I will be a YEAR OLD! That's right.. no more kitties.. we'll be full grown CATS! Well, TomTom will be.. he's as huge (if not bigger) than Barnaby! I've stayed my petite little self. I don't think I'll ever be as big as those two!
As you can see by my latest pictures... my coloring has changed dramatically! Daddy said that I look much more like BoBo in color now. When they first adopted me, I was a sandy orange... now I'm much orangier! MOL
I've become such a talker... probably the most vocal kitty my daddies have ever seen! I love to coo, meow and chatter as much as I can.. mostly to draw attention to myself. Even the boys know if I'm upstairs and they hear me yelling down the steps, it's time to get wild and crazy! I love being the boss of those two big guys. Even though they can knock me over or down in one second flat, I'm faster and NEVER give up! I can hold my own quite well.... and they end up running away from little ole me!
We'll all be posting much more frequently and look forward to catching up with all of our furbuddies!
Love and purrs!
