Arrival Story:
Memphis had been entrusted to a neighbor by his owner while he looked for an apartment. One day Memphis got out of their house and would not come back. We started to leave food out for him and after a few weeks he learned to trust us. Apparently, he was spending alot of his time living in the giant, ancient fig tree in our backyard! We finally convinced (tricked)him into coming inside! Meanwhile, the neighbor had been evicted and unfortunately, his owner can't have a cat where he is living! So we are "fostering" Memphis, although it's alright with us if he stays forever!

Bio:
Memphis is a real cuddle bug! He purrs loudly and continually!! What a sweet boy! He also has learned to play fetch (like a dog)! He can turn door knobs to effect escape from closed doors!
