Arrival Story:
UPDATE: After the death of our own 22 year old kitty, Ghosters officially joined our personal family in March of this year. Therefore, she is no longer a member of our rescue family and is no longer available for adoption. She is now my fourth child, and will spend the rest of her life with us. Ghosters joined my rescue officially on March 2, 2008. She had spent the previous TEN YEARS with her family, who loved her very much. Unfortunately, her family had to move to a place that did not allow cats, but would be voting in July if cats were allowed. I agreed to "foster" Ghosters until then. Well, Ghosters and I kept our fingers/toes crossed and counted down. Unfortunately, on July 8th, the condo assocation voted 68-6 in favor of NO CATS ALLOWED. Ghosters, her old family, and I were devastated. She now had to be put up for adoption. However, Ghosters and I are confident that we will be able to find a home that was as loving and caring as the one she had for her first ten years...

Ghosters is a special needs kitty because she has asthma. She is very low maintenance-her inhaler only takes 15 seconds every 2-3 days. She is VERY well-behaved and does not give me any trouble when it is time to get her inhaler. Also, her inhaler lasts about 6 months, which is very economical. Ghosters is an AWESOME cat with a SPUNKY and SUPERB personality. As you can see from the pics, she LOVES to do tricks-she rolls on her back, puts her legs up, and balances on her adorable fat rolls. She has the strangest little kitty purr and she loves to rub up against people's feet. She is a little shy at first, but warms up very quickly. Finally, she LOVES her brush and will go absolutely crazy for it. Ghosters is up to date with vaccinations and is spayed. She is doing fine here at my rescue, but living in a rescue environment is seemingly unfair for such a special cat that needs a loving, stress-free, home environment with owners that can give her attention and care. She also needs to be a strictly indoor-only cat due to her asthma. Also, I will provide Ghoster's new owners with a brand new inhaler, good for at least 7 months!
