Arrival Story:
Back in 2005 and 2006, I house sat for a co-worker and his wife and they had 4 cats. They moved to a new house and had someone closer to them cat sit when they went on vacation. Whoever watched them didn't clean out the litter box so Sadie II and Munchie started retaliating by going to the bathroom everywhere except for in the litter box. So the owners started kicking them outside. They are moving back to Illinois soon and will be taking the 2 male cats with them but decided they aren't going to take Sadie II and Munchie with them. They couldn't find homes for them so they were either going to abandon them at the house or take them to the Humane Society and have them put to sleep. I didn't want 2 more cats but I couldn't allow them to suffer or be punished just because they were no longer wanted by their previous owners. So, they have a 2nd chance with me.

Bio:
Munchie is the daughter of Sadie II and Bain (which is one of the males that the couple is keeping). She had a brother but he didn't survive. Munchie and Sadie II do not get along in my house. Something had to happen to them at their previous owner's house to cause such a rift. They hiss and growl at eachother everytime they see or smell eachother. Currently Munchie and Sadie II are living in my bathroom. They have free rein of the house but neither of them will come out of the bathroom. Munchie sleeps behind the door and Sadie II hangs out on the countertop. According to their previous owner, Sadie II is 7 and Munchie is 6. So I calculated their birthdate by going back 6 and 7 years from the day they arrived in my house. Munchie's new birthdate is 10 Jul 02.
