Coloration: Tortoiseshell
Likes: I like to greet my mom when she comes home from work, and I love to keep her lap warm. I love my treats and my mousie toys. I love meeting new people, but snuggling up with mom makes me happiest.
Pet-Peeves: I do not like to have my fur stroked backwards!
Favorite Toy: Crumpled up paper-I go nuts! I will play with the same one for days.
Favorite Nap Spot: Mom's bed, preferably right up against her. I always insist that my body is in contact with mom.
Favorite Food: Iams soft chicken in the can. Mom only lets me have it a couple times a week though--
Skills: I fetch better than a retriever!

Arrival Story: I adopted Beater from a lady I used to know. Beedies was the only girl, and when I first held her in my hands I knew I wanted to love her forever. When i first brought her home, she slept between my knees and ever since then, she has been my LOYAL little sidekick. I've never seen any cat so devoted to her people. She acts UNlike ANY cat I have ever seen. Her name sort of evolved over time. Her Birth Certificate said her name was "StellaLuna", apparently named after the bat from the children's story of the same name. So, I tried it, I even briefly called her Stella, but it didn't fit. One day when she was bopping around in her kitten splendor, i said, "look at my little Bopper!" Bopper turned into BeeBee, and I just don't know but Beater came from that. Ever since then, it is THE name she responds to. And it totally suits her personality. It just works. Not to mention, she turns into even more of a sweetie pie when I play some Beatles tunes. Bizarre, indeed.....
Bio: Beater is a very emotional kitty, and I swear she goes through cycles like any female. She runs to me and insists on comforting me if I'm upset or in a bad mood. She talks constantly. She has a hilarious sense of humor, too, and she is definitely the diva in my house. She loves her playmate, Pooozie, but makes sure she knows who is the alpha female kitty. Beater is boss. She is a flirt and makes sure that if you're a visitor, you WILL "paws" and give her some attention. She insists on ice in her water bowl. Beware of your glass of water-she WILL stick her head in your glass and take a sip. You won't mind, right?
