A Day In A Life Of Pumpkin

Not All Cats Are Puurrrfect

Pumpkin is not puurrrfect. For instance her front right paw does not point straight. It points to the right but her left front paw is fine. Her back left paw points left. For some reason she eats and drinks a little funny too. Like when she drinks she doesn't actually get any water. Her tongue doesn't even hit the water! She drinks on the side of the water bowl, where there is not water. When she eats she gets a big mouth full of the cat food, and spits it out next to the food bowl. Then she gets like one piece in her mouth throws it up in the air catches it in her mouth and THEN eats it. No one knows whys he eats and drinks like that she just does. I think it has to do with her being the runt of the litter. I think that because if she is the runt then all the others push her out of the way so she had to have some way to get some food. I think she drinks like that because she couldn't get to the water bowl very well so she had to drink off the side!

Get To Know Pumpkin

Pumpkin is about one year old. She must have been the "runt" of the litter becasue she is full grown but she is still kinda small. She is a mixed breed. She definetly has Persian in her. We are sure what her secondary breed is. The vet just said she is a Domestic Short Hair but we know she is Persian and probably Domestic Short Hair. She doesn't weigh alot, yet anyway! When we got her she was kind of skinny. She is now a little bit fat. She has got some big hips! Her fur is super soft ann she is super cute. She may be cute but she can go from cute love-able kitten to kitten go mad in 1.5 seconds! Like here is an example. The other day she was being nice and I was petting her. When someone pets her she walks around and rubs on everything around. Well our dog Odie walked by. ( she went from sweet to evil as fast as you can snap your fingers!) She jumped at him and hissed.
