Arrival Story:
We were not looking for any more cats and had even turned down a cat who needed a home a couple weeks before. We were going to our friends' house for dinner on Halloween and when we arrived, they said they had something to show us. They took us to the apartment that adjoins their house (and serves as our Pastor's office). When we had driven up, we noticed the lights were on in the office, so when they said they had something to show us, we thought maybe the office had been vandalized or something. We went in, and lying in the pastor's chair was this tiny multi-coloroed tortoise-shell kitten. She started talking to us and that little kitten had the biggest, loudest cat voice I had ever heard! Our friends said the kitten had followed a little girl to their house while she was out tricker-treating and it was not her cat. They couldn't take her into their house because they have two Cairn Terriers and she would not be a suitable playmate for them -- and they knew we were coming, so they parked her in the pastor's office until we got there. Chuck said that if we didn't take the kitten, that she would have to go to "the bad place" -- and he would pay the bill to have her spayed and get her shots. How could we possibly refuse? We brought her home that night -- I carried her in my jacket and she slept in bed with us -- and that was the last time she was calm -- or quiet! She has turned into a beautiful multi-colored cat and she is just about the funniest cat I have ever met! She is EXTREMELY demanding and always gets her way -- just to keep her quiet!

Bio:
She is the cat who is getting along with the dogs the best and it won't be too long before they are best friends.
