Arrival Story: Max is a love! This big guy wants nothing more than the basics: food and lots of petting. After his rough life on the streets, he was happy to come to the shelter. He had been abandoned at an apartment complex and was hungry and had no where to stay. Everywhere he went people would scare him away. He was starving, alone, and depressed.
His luck changed when a kind neighbor started feeding him. And she let him sleep on her porch so he could stay out of the rain. He remembered what it was like to have a home and kept running into her apartment, hoping that she'd let him stay. Max was special to her, but she had allergies and could not keep him.
Bio: Max is grateful for any petting -- especially on his big head -- and he likes to be brushed. He will give you head butts, do a flop and roll, and scoot around on his back. Ahhhh, it doesn't get any better than that. Even though Max is a large cat, he has a quiet purr and a tiny meow.
Max is a handsome black and white tuxedo cat with yellow eyes and huge feet.
