Arrival Story:
I went looking for Dakota due to searching internet for adoptable cats in my area. What a find! They almost wouldn't let me have him from the shelter, Freeman Fritts Animal Shelter in Kerrville, Texas as the staff had fallen in love with him. One had been taking him home for visits.

Bio:
My parents were looking for a Birman mix to replace Bandit but I charmed them into loving Balinese Mix. It was also debatable if I would fit in with 8 yr. old Buster Bear a black toy poodle. Well I showed them! The problem is I also like doggie toys, beds, water bowls etc. and Buster Bear felt even more threatened. I have been going and lying beside him though and trying to make friends and am sure that he will soon accept me as brother or at least his housemate and companion.

Happy Birthday Dakota! We had a great family celebration and Busterbear joined me. There was a cupcake with one candle which was lit and I wanted to touch it so bad. Busterbear and I got extra treats too! I am a Big Boy now, Mama says!


Home Alone

I was Home Alone all day Saturday of Labor Day Weekend while my family went to a family gathering in Austin Area! Busterbear went to a neighbor's house, who is a dog groomer and keeps dogs, to spend the night.

Mama called all the vets etc. who board cats and all said that I would have to stay from Saturday night until Tuesday morning. Mama said that she just couln't do that to me and that she just couldn't be without me that long.

I was a good boy and didn't tear down the curtains, eat plants, hang myself on an electric cord, rewire the computers or get electrocuted biting wires. The house was intact! I was a good boy!

It seems that I am a bionic cat! They say I have a microchip in me? Now where would that be? This microchip seems to tell someone who I am and where I belong among other things? Gee! What's this world coming to! I know who I am and where I belong.
