Bragging rights

Wow! I'm a Daily Diary Pick! I can't believe it! I've only had two entries and the Catster Picker already picked me! Wow. Sugar is jealous. She thought she was all that and a bag of catnip for getting picked twice in a month, but she's had her diary a lot longer than I have had mine!

Now for the update on my spot. It is a lot bigger. I have chewed and chewed at it. It was really red, but now there are only two red spots on the big bare spot. The v-e-t did a skin culture and scraped it (owee!), but we won't know what it is for several weeks. She said "ringworm", but Mom says it doesn't look like ringworm to her. But I am taking antibiotics and Mom has some ointment she puts on me twice a day. Oh, and I also have to take b-a-t-h-s! Eww. I don't like any of that stuff, but Mom is very gentle and gives me lots of kisses and ear rubs, so that helps.

Well, I'm off to remind Sugar that I'm a DDP! MOL!

Uh-oh

I heard Mom on the phone this morning. She was calling the V-E-T. That's never a good thing. It means someone is going to have to go for a car ride to go see that lady that sticks something cold in our bum! *shudders*

Well, I have figured out that it's ME who is taking the long walk down the plank, so to speak. I guess it's because I have this spot under my right front leg that I have chewed all the hair off. I'm not telling why. That's my secret. But Mom is worried because all the fur is gone from a 3x3-inch or so spot and it's all red. She just hopes it isn't contagious. I don't mind though. I like to share! I'm good like that.

A good place to start

I haven't started a diary, because I'm pretty shy. But since I’ve been tagged by Kragen to write 7 facts about myself and then tag 7 other kitties, I decided to start one today!

1. I am a sweet, good boy and stay out of trouble (unlike my brothers).

2. I love my Purina Kitten Chow! I don't like other dry food, and I don't like wet food. I don't even like human food, like chicken. Just Kitten Chow, thanks.

3. I love my brother Artie. He is my best friend!

4. I was very affectionate with my Mom the first week she had me, but then I decided I didn't want her. But every month I warm up a little more, and I've decided getting lovins from her is pretty nice.

5. I love the laser light! It's my favorite toy!

6. I am very easy going and get along with all the other cats in the house.

7. My favorite place to sleep is in one of Mom's baskets. I like it even better if Artie is in there with me!
