My Gotcha Day!!!!

Today May 22 is My Gotcha Day. I have been living with this nice lady for 2 years now. I thought I would tell you the story of how I came to be here. I love living here now but things were not always that way. You see where I lived before they had other cats who were boys, and when they found me as a kitten the boys started peeing all over the house. They decided to just lock me in a room by myself away from everyone else. It was very lonely. They tried for 2 years to adopt me out but no one would take me. But then the nice lady saw me on Petfinder and knew I was exactly what she was looking for. The family told her my story and that I was shy and a little skiddish but she wanted me anyway! Well I didn't want her! When I got to her house I hid under the bed for 2 days! I didn't even come out to use the litter box! But the nice lady didn't let that get to her. She put food and water for me under the bed. I thought that was nice of her. When I finally came out (I had to use the litterbox bad at this point) she didn't bother me. I was surprised. So I started hanging out more and more. She never forced me to be her friend, she would just talk to me and let me go my way. I liked it that way you see I don't like people! Then she decided to have her vet check me cause I wasn't eating enough. Well the vet found out my gums were all infected and I had 5 teeth that needed to be pulled! Yes, I was in a lot of pain but I didn't let anyone know. I didn't think anyone would care. Well I had to stay at the vets so she could take care of my mouth first thing in the morning. They were very nice to me there. The next day the vet put me to sleep and when I woke up the pain was all gone just like that! I was so happy! I had been in pain so long and now it was gone! I decided at that point the lady was nice and she cared about me to take care of my problem. So I surprised her the next day and let her pet me. She couldn't believe it, she thought I was a different cat! Well even after all this time the nice lady is the only person I let touch me. I am very happy here. She knows my likes and dislikes, especially the don't hold me or try to pick me up! She is the first person I ever trusted! I think I'll keep her for awhile!

1. Do you wear a collar? No, I stay in the house all the time so I don't need one
2.What kind of food do you eat? I eat Purina One Dry Chicken and Rice and Meow Mix Packets Chicken And Liver

5. Do you get table scraps? No I'm very picky about what I eat
6. What is your favorite toy? I have little catnip stocking I got for Christmas that I like to bat all over the house and of coarse my Beanie Baby cat that I like to use as a pillow his name is Baby
7. When is your birthday? Nobody knows since I was adopted but we celebrate mu Gotcha day in May and since I was 2 and a half when I was adopted I guess my Birthday sometime in November
8. How many times a day do you eat? I have my dry food out all day and I get a half a pack of Meow Mix twice a day
9. What's your favorite color? Either pink or purple
10. Do you hope your pals put this in their diary? I hope so
