They were super skinny and had kittens and were rescued by the RSPCA from owners who were neglecting their pets. Bio: Jester came with me when I moved to the US and as she got older she loved the California climate and sunbathing in the garden.
Her ashes are sprinkled in the garden where she liked to snooze under the rose bushes. The Groups I'm In: Cats with Allergies, Olde Furts, PAWS Angels WAGS for Kindness The Last Forum I Posted In: Increased water intake/urination should I be concerned? Accupuncture: Jester used to love her accupuncture sessions. When she got older she developed IBS and the only traditional treatment was prednizone which wasn't great for her since she was borderline diabetic. I decided to try alternative treatment 1st and my vet gave me the name of another vet who was also trained in traditional chinese medicine/accupuncture. To my great surprise Jester took really well to the accupuncture and would sit there purring for 20 mins during the treatments. After a couple of months she was cured and lived out the rest of her life without the discomfort of IBS. The bottom photo shows Jester getting accupuncture - you can see the needles down her back.
