Arrival Story:
I happened upon this nice lady's porch one day with an injured nose and terrified of humans. I got fed by her and ever since then I have become a part of her cat family. Istill won't let her touch me - but I do trust her enough to flop down near her feet and expose my tummy to her. She pets me but I move out of the way. I like that she gives me milk. I'm very tiny and look like I'm about 5 months old but really I'll be a year in December 2008. Something stunted my growth.

Bio:
My nose will never fully heal. I have a small hole that I breathe out of on top of it. It heals, then opens up again, then heals, etc. Mommy is taking me to a new vet so she can get me fixed and look at my nose damage. I have a huge crush on my indoor cat brother Butters. I've given him kisses on his nose before! Mommy thinks it's so adorable! Mommy is going to try to make me an indoor/outdoor cat once I have my surgery. She worries about how I might be in the winter. Hooray! As of Oct. 7th, 2008 I am officially an indoor kitty at my mommy's! :) I am named after my grandma Frances whose in heaven. Mommy says I'm a fighter just like she was because of my constant medical problems (with my nose).

Mommy has had me stay outside since I met her in mid-March 2008. She recently captured me and took me to the vet to get fixed on Monday, Oct. 6, 2008. While I was there, the vet felt it would be safer to have me live indoors because of my nose. My nose was very infected and I got a 2 weeks antibiotic shot for it. Mommy was a little unsure about having 3 cats inside....but then realized it would be the best thing for me! So right now I'm in a cozy room (away from the other 2 cats for now) so I can recuperate from surgery and my nose problem.

When I first got home I was so scared. But the nice ladies at the vet and the vet herself petted me and was very nice to me. So I'm not super skiddish of people anymore. My mommy got to touch me for the first time when I got home. I LOVE being petted by my mommy now! She's a great petter! She gave me a special bed that my Auntie Sharron gave to me as a welcome home present. I LOVE this bed! It's all my own! It's so soft! I love doing summersalts in it! hehehe

Mommy will let me meet the rest of the family this Saturday. I am a little scared because they're so much bigger than me. The doc says I only weigh 5 pounds even though I'm a full grown cat. Something stunted my growth.

Anyway, I love my new place and I'm glad I'm indoors and not in harm's way. I'm a tiny girl that needs to be protected. Mommy is very good to me and I love that she spoils me.
