Arrival Story:
I was found as a stray by one human and lived with her for awhile before living with her mom (my human nana), then went back and forth between them for awhile before being permanently adopted by my real human mom, the nana's other daughter. Now every time I get in the car I freak out and think I'm losing my home, even though my mom has promised me that this is my furever home and she wouldn't give me up for anything. (It's very small consolation that the only time I do go for a ride, it's to the vet's!)
Bio:
I was named after model Kate Moss because I was so thin when I was first rescued. I'm still not heavy but now I'm happy knowing that I'll always have plenty of food and water whenever I want them.
Update 10/11/09 Katie passed away peacefully in her sleep.

Okay, so I'm sitting on the arm of my mom's chair, minding my own business and being a purrfect lady, as always, when my daddy in the other chair tooted! Ewww! I instantly started to hack and gag! Daddy said, "You can't smell that already!" My response was to hack and gag some more! Why do boys always have to act so gross?

I allowed the mom person to see me briefly when she came back from that work place tonight. Then she didn't see me for hours until twenty seconds after she got on the phone with the Aunt Giggi. Then I made my customary appearance to protest the mom talking to someone besides me. I was somewhat appeased when I received my treats while the mom was on the phone.
