How Max got his name.
When I got Max I was told that he was a female and I had no reason not to believe the man, he said the other two kittens he had were males, so I didn't check, I liked him and wanted a female anyway so I took him........
We went home and I name the kitten "Sassy", for about 6 wks we called him "Sassy" took him awile to respond but eventually he did. One day I took him to the Vet, the Vet looked him over and said, "this kitten is a male" imagine my suprise! I was raised around cats even helped deliver kittens when I was younger.and have only been fooled by 3 kittens and they were tabbys, after they had wormed their way into my heart lol. well I said" better change that name to Max". We went home and within an hour of calling him Max he was responding to his new name. it was like he was saying to me"It's about time Mom you give me a boys name"
and he and I have been happy campers ever since and I would never trade him for any ole female in the world
