Birthday Monday!

Can't wait for my birthday! I am so excited. I just know my silly human will take care to spoil me more than usual. Is that even possible? I did accept a warm face wash this morning. Mmmm. Actually, I growl, but I really like a warm washcloth. Just pretend to fuss.

Off to take a nap. Must nap extra in preparation for a great birthday.

WOW! COTD!

I'd blush, but that's not my purrsonality. As a retired show kitty, I am thrilled to be in the Catster spotlight for a day! If my human could ever capture it on video, I would show you how excited I am by jumping straight up in the air from all four paws and then chase my tail! Evolving Emily

I love to play first thing in the morning with my human on the other end of a cat teaser. My favorite is the long fleece strand pulled over the short cat scratcher. I will jump and roll and talk for as long as my human will provide the entertainment.

Lately, I have become a real cuddle-bug. I shadow my human and enjoy sitting next to or on the lap. I saw that Mary was getting all the family lap time.........and figured that must be a cool thing. Sure enough, she was right. Now, I have the game down, too. Scratch my cheeks and chin. Brush me please. It's all good.

Tara showed me how jumping in the bathtub would get me more attention. Now, I am working that angle all the time! I even growl at other kitties who try to join me! That's my little joke, I sound mean, but I am so NOT. I am all growl and no scratch!

Birthday Treats!

My humans are well trained to spoil me everyday. Today is special though, I can tell. Something called a birthday. Hmmm - I wondered why I was getting extra scritches and treats. I am such a lovebug when I want something!! I didn't even get my act started & they were doling out goodies this morning.

Fitness is fun!

My human does something called "core strengthening" exercises on the floor. What fun! I can walk around and under her like it is a game just for me! Even swishing my tail over her face - Meow! She can't resist and gives me some extra attention. I purr loudly just to show my appreciation. Mary was the first one to join in - but, now I have figured out what a good time it is to be noticed. I even like the trainer, Linda!

Talk Talk Talk

I make loud noises - you'd think I was angry at the toy or mad at my human, but no. I just make WILD sounds. Maybe because I am not the largest cat around? At least I sound like I am. Growl at the catnip cigar, Howl for dinner, Whine when brushed. It's all such an act. Faux Fuss.

Wow, Deborah, my daughter is a daily diary pick! What? Me first? Don't they know???? I want everything before any other kitty in the house. If you think she is loud, well you haven't heard me.
