Well, it's summertime!

Mommy can't believe it's summertime already! so much has changed! We still have all of us here but I swear, i'm working on a way to get Chosen sold to someone hehe. I like to give him baths but he will give them back and that is NOT acceptable! I no longer have my window on the floor like in our old house but i have a higher up window by the bed. I use whoever is sleeping by it as a spring board. It works well. And I have this habit I just can't shake still....ANKLE BITING! the best thing ever! I play with mommy every night before she goes to work (she works nights now) and i watch her walk to the back to get her stuff and I hide under the table and then as she walks I POUNCE! I love the thundering sound I make on the hardwood floors, it's great!
When I do it, it cracks mommy up cause my eyes get all big and black looking and I wiggle my butt like a million times until i get the perfect take off! it's not funny, mom, its' called strategy. DUH. Mothers, i tell ya! She's caught on to me a few times and will bend over and stop me with her hands. she says its to protect her ankles but I think she just can't resist my beautiful, shiny, soft, gray fur. I don't really bite tooo hard.....well maybe that one time....or two...or well, whatever, who's counting? Not me! *whispers* I can't really count that high! rofl. Yes, Okay, i do it daily. But it's more of a game. Oh and then there is the i love to jump on the chair to the desk and sit on my hind legs and try to get the flying thingy from the ceiling fan. I get yelled at for that one. Mommy says she yells cause she loves me. I think she wants to break the ears, uh huh. And she gets all panicky over it. as if I'm gonnna fall to the ground. well, there was one time mommy had to catch me but i've gotten older since then. Me and Midnite and checkers still fight. Checkers attacks me, Midnite attacks him, and then I usually just end up getting angry at mom for picking me up or putting me up. MOL.

On a more serious note, I've missed you all and I think of you all the time. Mom's on fb if you wanted to know about her and she says since I'm older i can come back and play sometimes, esp since mommy can use her phone. But I have never once forgotten my friends and I am greatful for you all!

RIP Rhombus

So My mommy is not okay today and neither are us in this house. well, except the kids. they don't know. but as mommy types this for me, she is crying very hard. She's been at work all night but her mind keeps wandering back to a stray we always feed. He was gentle, black, beautiful and his name was Rhombus. Mommy and I were asleep when Midnite and Chosen were put in our room and the door closed. Mommy heard hissing and wokeup to find her sister, Tiffany crying. Rhombus was attacked or something and was found on our porch with a torn and bleeding tongue, no eye, and breathing very shallow. they didnt want mommy or me or the other cats to see. But mommy saw just as the animal control pulled up. He put him to sleep right there in the truck. What really gets mommy is she heard howling and fighting last night and couldnt go out at 3 am to break it up. Had she just went out there, maybe Rhombus would be alive. WHo knows how long he suffered. Mommy can't get it outof her head. She feels so bad.

Hi all! how is everyone? Hmmm? Long time no talk! So i see they have a facebook connect now? HOW COOL! But how does it work? can someone enlighten me? mommy doesn't want my diary entries to go to her facebook account. Will that happen if she allows publsihing? Well, I bet you wonder how we are...we are well...it has been over a year since I've been here, mainly cause Mommy has been really sick, her new job doesn't allow internet surfing, mommy has been working and being busy being a mommy herself. Well, life sometimes gets busy lol! We haven't ONCE forgotten our wonderful catster friends and I love you all. I am trying to reconnect with the world myself and want to be here more than what I have. I am still engaged to Paisan. Please keep his mommy in your prayers. She is having a rough time. We love her and P dearly and want things to work out for her badly.
I hope the FB thing will work out. Mommy would love to connect with her friends from here again and keep up with them and she can get FB alerts on her phone. Does that mean she woudl get catster alerts on her phone too? She cna't get to catster from the web unless there is an app now out there. Is anyone aware of one? Sorry for so many questions! A year later and we are doing much better....we are almost normal! Well, normal as an ankle biter can get! hehe. I miss my catster plus page. Makes me sad all my pictures are gone. I miss this place and all my stuff. i wonder if it disapears or is there waiting to be re-activated? Mommy only has the pictures that are here because her camera was not able to be kept so I hope we can get them back at some point.....anyways, my fury friends, I miss you all and I love you even more! hugs!

So Hi everyone! *waves and giggles* I am still here, can you beleive that?! I am , I am, I am. Mommy is sorry she won't let me play for awhile. She was gone having surgery, and doing all those fun (or not so fun human stuff)! Now that the kids are going back to school, maybe I will get my computer time back! Yipee! I hope you guys haven't forgotten me! ROFL. I miss everyone here. I keep telling mommy i should be on here daily but we all know how humans get busy. Things are good with me, Chosen is growing up to be more of pest than ever. Midnite is SO facisnated by our ice machine she makes the whole family laugh on a daily basis and Checkers is home with us still.....not out with the rest of us but me and him take turns on who gets to get out so it isnt so bad. Mommy is still feeding the blackie kittty we have all named Blackie. She is the sweetest thing and always just wants love but we just can't take her in or afford to pay for her care. Today is chosen's gotcha date. happy birthday you little rascal. Mommy has promised me i can be fairy kitty and go around and deliver presents to all teh good kitties and pups so I am looking forward to that.
I got caught up on some things from my true love Paisan but i have missed you all! I hope you are all ok and sorry I have been gone and MIA for a bit. Mommy has had her hands full with work and summertime, lol.

Aw mommy

Mommy is tearful tonight. She hasn't been on in a while cause of work and all, hmph. But i have this friend, a sweet little black stray that i talk to each day in my window(its MY window, I don't care what Chosey says). anyways, mommy has been feeding him/her. and so have the kids. But we have noticed it's health is going and going fast. There is no way we can save my friend, we just dont have the money and it is making mommy and me sad that my friend is dying. She has worms and her skin is patchy and missing more and more hair each day. she is shaking badly. Mommy is torn on whether or not she can call someone to come get her but she is scared it will put the little baby in danger of being killed. It is breaking our hearts. She clearly is friendly enough we think she is an abandoned baby. Mommy would bring her in but we just can't risk the rest ofus getting sick, mommy wouldnt be able to take us to the vet either. What should she do? call the pound and put her out of her misery? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you to al my friends who still stop by even though mommy doesnt let me play as much because she is working so much!

I think so much of you guys. It is hot hot hot here in Oklahoma.
I miss you all and hope mommy will let me come back and play if her 12 hour days ever let up!

Not fair, MOmmy!

It has really been lighting and thundering around here lately. Well, I just so happen to enjoy laying in the windows when it does this. Something about it facinates me but my mommy puts a damper on that really quick. When it storms and the lights flash like crazy, she gets all weird and won' t let me lay in the window! Somehting about how it's not safe and she doesnt want me in there. We had a battle of will last night. The lightening was really bad. Here is how it went down....
I jumped in teh living room window. Mommy made me move.
I flicked my tail and got back up there when she wasn't looking.
She moved me down again. I got really irriated. And Smart.
I moved to another window in her room.(there's two so I was hoping she woudln't check the one I was in!)
But ....she did. And she made me move. This time I meowed at her and let her know this was completly unacceptable.
I am launcing a revolt against her. I swear. Don't you kiddies agree? What's the harm being in the window during a storm.
Mommy pulled me down again and again last night. I finally gave up and snuggled under the blankets, tail flopping loudly to let her know I was NOT happy.
She pettted me and tried to explain that it was because lighning is dangerous and can strike even the oddest of things and that it just waasn't safe with the 70 mph winds we were having.
So, what do you kitties think? I think I'm right! HMPPPPPPPPPPHHHHHH!! She is so not fair not letting me watch the lightning show!!!

What's been goin on?

Not much here. I have been sleeping my normal crazy ways, as you can see by my pic, and just hanging out. I have really taken to chasing anything that moves well on the hardwood floor and I sure have a blast sliding around. Then I realize the family is stopping to stare at me and I'm all like what? I Mean, can't a superstar cheerleader princess have some playtime without everyone staring at me?! I have been being a good lil girl and helping mommy clean house, unfold (she folds and my job is to UNfold the clothes) the clothes, and bring out all the toys and have her chase them down. Boy, I think she's part dog. I love to watch her fetch my toys! I give her this look like you're crazy, mommy and then I wait til her back is turned to play. Then when she turns back around, I just sit there. I don't know why she must insist on watching me play, hehe. I am one sneaky little princess.

Well, that is all. We have lots of storms and bad weather here in Oklahoma and mommy says it should be a very active tornado season this year, based on how many threats we've already had up to this point. I hope she's wrong but she can call tornadic weather pretty good. But I still keep hoping she's wrong just this once!

Strawberries for this Easter Bunny!

So, my aunt brought home some big red strawberries. I didn't really care cause I was asleep. But she had the audacity to walk over there by me in MY chair and all the while holding it in her hand. She saw me look up and then started swishing it around likea toy. The smell was soo oooo good, I wanted one . I mean, I stood MIr(a)Kat (get it, it's my name kinda like meerkat) and wanted to know what that red thing was. Then she played with me. Well, as my mommy warned her, DON"t tease me! I'll give you paybacks for that!

So my aunt Tiffany puts the strawberries on the table and goes to her computer in MY chair. That was strike two. Not only to tease me and not let me have my strawberry, but to take my chair?!! Oh no! So guess what I did?!

I got on the table (which is not allowed but neither was teasing me...) and saw the whole plastic container of those big, red, plump looking things! Guess what I did? I tried to get one and knocked it off....I didn't do it on purpose either.....My aunt said I did it just to get back at her. I say it' s 50/50. I did it to get one of those to eat AND to get her back and teach her a lesson! And that's the cat confidental of the day! *snicker*


On a serious note, Please purr for all those kitties and puppies and humans who are suffering from the Oklahoma Wildfires. At least the hurricane force winds have came and gone. They left a lot of damage in the area and a lot of ppl homeless and heartbroken. Mommy had so much anxiety the night of the fires she could barely sleep so I kept her company. Thank goodness they didn't get too close to us or I'd have been throwing water on mommy to keep her calm! We just really purr those affected have a happy and safe Easter. We know how it is to lose what you have and we just purr that they have the strength to perservere through this time.
