Arrival Story:
We had just lost our kitty Lucy and were wanting to fill the void she left. So, we started looking at various breeds and rescues. Whatever the breed, they'd have to have a big personality to even come close to being as good of a cat as Lucy was. I ran across the Turkish Van breed and from the breed personality standard, I knew this was the cat for us. We found a Turkish Van kitten at a rescue through Pet Finder and went to look at him. There we 3 other siblings and Izzy really stood out to us, so we decided to go with her instead of her brothers and it was one of the best choices I ever made. She is typical Turkish Van and a beloved member of this family.
