indoors Arrival Story: Caper picked us. We had a family reunion on july21st,2007,,had some family come from Dingwall ,Cape Breton Nova Scotia. Caper was only 8 weeks old,,he crawled up under their truck,,,it was storming,,raining hard,,they had a 5 hour drive to get here,,after they had they got here ,,about 20 minutes,the kids went outside to play,,they heard mewoing,,they looked around the truck,,in a endentation in the upper wheelwell in the front of the truck,,they found this tiny,black & white kitten ,,had to pry his little claws out of the rust there,,they brought him inside to me,,he was all dirty,and hungry,,,we weren't going to let him leave us now,,we called him Caper after where he came from,,he is a big,,spoiled cat now.
My family knew he was one of their outdoor cat's babies,,he was the only one born without a tail,,,he now only has a little stump of a tail. Bio: Caper was given a small white knitted ,bear,,he carries it around the house,,,the vet checked him all over he is a healthy kitty..his story was in the local newspaper.He chose to come here to us,,we believe. A good friend of ours has crossed over Rainbow Bridge. Her name was Brandy and she was a 14 year old Manx . She had problems with her hind legs but her mommy looked after her and she lived a long time. Brandy was born with problems with her hind legs so she couldnt walk when she was a kitten .Her ,human,mommy saw her and they fell in love at first sight. Her Mommy (Helen) looked after her legs and got them working enough so she could get around ,,which Brandy did ,,sometimes she ran very fast too. she was a indoor kitty too. We will miss her ,
Our friend Boo went with her new family in a purrrty pink cat carrier .They feel in love with her right away.It was very nice to see her go to someone who loves us cats.Meow.
For some reason Boo didnt want to play with us.But thats ok ,my mommy found her a good home thats all that matters. Good luck Boo in your new home. May you purrrr there for a long time.
When Hopper and Ralph first came here ,,man Caper got upset ,he growled and meowed at them all night and the next day ,,then he started to wash them and now he looks after them both as if he was their mom ,,well all but the nursing part ,,,he checks to see if they are clean too ,,even washes their butts ,,,he trys to play with them but he is alot bigger and does get too rough with them ,,but he is getting better at it ,,,they have only been here 2 weeks ,,had to feed them with a eyedropper ,,seems they were taken from their mom too soon ,,now they are eating canned cat food no problem and drinking lots of water ,,almost litter box trained too ,Caper goes and checks on them every chance he gets too ,,,fusses over them big time ,,
