I am an old kitty ,but my Human takes the best care of me.

To all of Selenes Friends

It has been almost two weeks since Selene passed away.
I am very sad beyond words ,but am doing my best to carry on.

I feel fortunate that Selene and I ( her human) returned home and that she passed and was able to be burried on the grounds of her old home.

I ( human) will be getting a nice memorial stone soon and have been adorning Selenes resting place with rose petals and rosemary on a regular basis.

I want to thank all of you humans and kitty's for being our friends in this short time .

You are all very sweet and caring creatures.

I ( human) will be taking down this page soon as it is time to move on and too heartbreaking to return here,but am very very grateful for the love and am so happy to know that so many humans care so much about their feline ( and canine ) friends that you all spend so much time in a cyberspace such as this .

If this kind of love and appreciation could be spread around the world,what a better place this could be!

I guess this just goes to show how much love and respect takes place between the two leggeds and the four leggeds and how this bridges all gaps.

So love and respect to all you furry ones and to your non furry keepers.

May you all always have snuggles and purrs to keep you safe and warm,xoxo

Me and my bowl of water

I don't know if any of you other cat's do this , but I talk to the water in my dish.
My human cannot understand this,but she is trying to figure it out.
She usually tries to respond by immitating what I say , but she sounds rediculous.

Does she really need to know why I do the things I do ?

Health issues are a big pain in the tush!

I am 16 years old.
For humans, this is young and romantic,but for us kitties,this translates into old ladyism.
My human always tells me to live forever and I am not sure what that means because I live in the moment ,except for when my human is gone away ,and I know she worries about me all the time and I have to admit that I worry too.

I do not really care about all these "worldly activities " of her's.
I try to understand,but why does she go away?

Well anyway ,I know she loves me and will do anything for me .
She is the best human on the planet!

She has been taking me to the Vet alot lately and I really HATE it!!

Why does she make me do this??

I guess I am getting some problems that come with older age , and while I don't feel so good I hate making these trips.

I know it upsets her ,because I can feel when she is upset and I don't like it.

I will do what I can to make her happy because I know how important I am to her.

She wants me to live forever .

Why can't we all live forever?

How come humans expect so much from us?

We just want our humans to hang around with us ,feed us , snuggle with us and be happy together.

I am so glad I am not a human that has to do all the weird things they do .

In my world and the way it works is we just get up and eat , take a nap, eat again,sleep , get up, eat and then see what the humans are up to.

I really like it when my human sits on the floor with me and stretches and lays around with me.

I really like it when we get to dance.

My human really likes music and I am inspired when she dances and does thing called "dance practice."

That is really fun and I walk around her and look at her till she picks me ,then we go around in circles and sometimes she sings along if there are words.

It is even more fun when she wears something with alot of fabric,because I like to sit beneath it and it is really a "trip".

Then sometimes we watch movies and snuggle up together .

I love my human.
