I'm doing serious cat napping so meowmy's going to write fur a bit.
well, Harrold is doing OK he eats, sleeps, and uses the litter box. he has a calming collar but I'm thinking Henry may need one too. I woke up yesterday to a huge cat fight and then the beginning of one today.
When they get along it's GREAT but when the play gets territorial it gets mean. It stresses me out because I just love both those boys. How long will this occasional fighting last?? When will their be peace in the land called Katie's apartment??
SOS and HELP!

Well, I know when Kinzy came I just had to lay the law down, it was my home first. She was a little kitty so, it was easy.
Since it is Henrys house I am sure he has a favorite spot or two for snoozing or watching the goings-on in the neighborhood. Discourage the new cat from honing in on these spots. Even better, encourage the newbie to adopt his own special place by finding a separate spot, then setting a towel there with his scent on it, and perhaps some catnip.
Keep in mind its Henrys house. He is the King.
(got your back King Henry)

It's going to take a little while for Henry and Harrold to figure things out. You might want to try changing around the bedding so they can smell each other's scent. Not sure if this is possible, but you might want to also try feeding them or giving them treats near each other so they get the idea that being near each other equals positive things.
There are lots of sites with great tips, so look online to get some additional tips as well.
Who the heck is Harrold, Henry? Did I forget you have a roomie? Oh my, you are the king and Harrold better be put in his place!
Hope there is peace soon.
Samoa, Harrold is the Guest Cat. Some humans (like my Mom) have weird ideas and actually invite guest cats into their house. :(
Sounds like it's going purrty good in Henry's house. You should probably reinforce Henry's role as King and intentionally prefer him, serve him first, play with him first, etc. Mom did that with me and our guest cat. It helped a little but I still got jealous. I didn't like her for several months. When Henry gets upset, talk talming to him, tell him that Harrold is a nice can and we love Harrold. Praise Henry when he's near the guest cat and doing good. Every cat is different. Good luck with them and long live the King *claps paws*
I was super jealous of Maurice, but I never really cared about Charlie or Travis. Hope it all works out!
