Purrs and Meows! Momma finally let me on

Well it has taken a good long while for this new momma of mine, as of 6 months now to let me back on here to send Meows and Purrs to everyone! I have really gotten to like this really warm thing called a fireplace, great place to get your furr all toasty. My furr is really soft, I get to fill my belly, play with great toys, and roll around with Baby Patches so things are good.

Christmas was very nice, momma and daddy got us these really great catnip rattle toys which momma sells on her new pet supplies web site http://www.suppliesjust4pets.com. But finally today she has given us cats some time to say Meow to everyone. I hope you are all had a happy new year and are keeping warm.

Featured Daily Diary for Today!

Meeoooooow! This is so exciting. Thank you for making me the featured daily diary pick for today. Momma finally let me log on to read the great news, so I am purring away.

Daddy is feeling much better but he still let me lay in his lap for a long time yesterday. It's so very comfy. Often I get to lay on momma all night long in bed, although she rolls me off every once in a while.

Going on 3 months with my new furever mommy and daddy. Thanks for all the gifts and congratulations!

Layin on the Daddy

Daddy was not feeling well at all yesterday. He was laying down and so me being a loving little snowshoe had to lay on him...all day! It was very nice, comfy, and warm, I just loved it.

Today I think I will try to lay in his lap again.

Fish scratcher and our goal to get in the closet

Momma got us this really cool scratcher that is shaped like a fish. I always go to it especially after I have filled my belly with yummy royal canin. I perch myself on it for a while too so no one else can use it. Momma commented to daddy that I must really love that fish scratcher. So there I do!

Okay, so as you all heard Momma locked Baby Patches in the closet earlier this week. We were acting as a tag team to make entrance into the closet and she made it in. So we attempted again this morning but that darn momma closed the door and we had to lay down right in front of it to see if we could achieve our goal of getting in.

Well Baby Patches made it pass the momma once but she got caught. We will have to keep trying.

Water, treats, and momma rolling me off

I just love to stick my paw in the water and then lick it. Momma watched me do it this morning and she said part of her thinks I do it to test taste it. She should know its a snowshoe thing, we just love water..don't we.

The other night after dinner momma gave us some treats and boy are they yummy. I don't like those crunchy greenie things she has but these soft lickin ones are good. So last night I sat by the treat door waiting for some again. This how you train your humans.

And would you believe this momma, I will be perfectly comfortable when all of sudden she will turn over and roll me off. I just shake it off and then go find another comfortable spot but I do wish she wouldn't move.

Well I better go curl up in the slumber ball for a nap.

A new toy

I don't know what this momma is trying to pull but this thing she put on the closet door seems to be a new toy. There is a string that comes out and then goes away over and over. At times I can catch it but I can't seem to take it away. It just goes back and disappears again. My baby sister gets a hold of it and some times gets it caught in one of her claws. Why would momma put the string there to come out if I can't get it and take it away? Well I will just have to keep trying. Wish me luck.

Happy Birthday to me!

Momma told me and Daddy that its my birthday today. She says that I am 4 years old now. I was also informed that I was given 25 treats and 5 paws from Catster! Momma said its been 2 months since I have come to my new furever home. It seems pretty nice here with my baby sister to roll around with and plenty of water for me to stick my paws in. I don't think I like this claw clipping and teeth cleaning that goes on but I gets lots of love so I guess that makes up for it.

My first time leaving my new furever home

I was just laying very comfortably I might add in the very soft slumber ball when my new momma picked me up and put me in, of all things, a carrier.

Next thing I know I feel like we are moving and I start expressing my distaste for what is happening. My loud mewing does nothing to stop it.

We arrived at this place with people I don't know and I was put onto a table only to have these new people poke and prod me. They seemed nice enough so I didn't mew or fuss and momma was there.

All I can say is that everything was okay but this moving thing they put me in is unacceptable. The minute we were moving again I was mewing up a storm. And all I can say now is that I was so happy to be home.

Oh wow, for my first diary posting I was tagged by my furriend Princess Leia.

1) What is your favorite Olympic Sport?
Swimming would be my favorite. Momma always catches me with my paws in the water and getting into the tub after she has taken a shower. I just love water.

2) What do you prefer Summer or Winter?
Summer, for sure! Laying in the sun is the best, my fur gets very toasty and warm. Momma told me that in the winter there is a nice warm fireplace to lay in front of. I guess I will get to see what that is like.

3) What is the quirkiest thing you do?
Making pigeon sounds. Momma and Daddy say I make pigeon sounds like my brother Lucky. He is a siamese mix so they say it must be the siamese in me.

4) Do you have a crush on any other kitties?
Well there is this handsome snowshoe I saw the other day and invited him to be furriends but he has yet to respond. So I have yet to find a special kitty.

5) What is your favorite rosette or zealie and why?
I love the new diamonds. They are shiny, pretty, and last forever. The rainbows are pretty nice to because of all the colors.
