indoors Arrival Story: My name is Bailey, and I've had the worst luck. Because I'm a quiet girl, I went unnoticed by adopters and spent four years (almost all of my life) living at the shelter. But last year my luck changed: someone adopted me! I proved to my new mom what an affectionate and loving cat I could be, and I never did anything wrong. My life was great until mom found a boyfriend. At first I thought he would be another person who would love me, but that was not the case. The boyfriend didn't want me around, so mom returned me to the shelter. How could a tiny kitty like me be a problem? I'm hardly bigger than a kitten so I don't take up much room. Bio: I'm really scared right now and hide from people, even though they are very nice to me and tell me that everything will be ok. What's going to happen next? Will I be here another four years before someone adopts me? Maybe no one will ever want to give me a home again.
I like other cats and remember Truman and Pekoe from when I lived here before. It's good to see some familiar faces. When no one is looking, I go to the front of my cage so I can watch them.
I've been told I'm a great cat and lots of fun. I'm curious and love to sit next to the sink and take little sips from the faucet. And I'm affectionate. There's nothing I like more than a lap, or cuddling while someone holds me. I've got a lot of love packed in my little body. Please give me a chance.
