So far, that's hard to say.
None that I have noticed. not yet, anyway.
A little gray mouse that hangs from my dresser.
Favorite Nap Spot:
on top of her humans.
she is a master at falling down. She doesn't have her depth vision up to par yet.
I work at a convenience store and some customers asked me if I was still looking for a kitten. I told them yes (it had been a year since I my heart, Lucky, passed over the Rainbow Bridge), so the next day, they brought 2 little kittens over to see me.
Brother and sister. they looked like twins. Well, another customer came in, snatched up the brother and said, 'I have to have this kitten'! So, all that was left was the female (which I prefer, anyway) and I decided that she needed me (or was it the other way around?). I told them to give me a few days to cat proof the house and so that they could get used to the idea of not having either kitten anymore. Geez, I thought the one lady was going to cry when Little Miss's brother left.
Anyway, a few days later, she came to live with us.
Little Miss' sname was originally going to be Thora K, after a character in my favorite book, but the name just didn't fit, so I asked my room-mates 2 year old granddaughter what we should call her. She wanted to call her Pussy. But, well, I thought not. lol Not a good name to be hollering if you've lost it!
When I first saw Little Miss, her fur was all of one coloring. No marks on her at all excpet just the hint of that typical tabby "M' between hers eyes. When I got her, a few days later, she was showing vague stripes on her legs and her 'M' was very prominent. Each day she seems to change colors and get more stripes.

A week ago, Mom brought home (what I think is) a dog. It smells different than Haley does and it's all wiggly. It's also a lot bigger now than when she brought it home.
Mom says it's a thing called apuppy. I guess that means it's a baby dog.
I do not like this apuppy. It tries to chase me. I stop it though, by fluffing up and giving it a big old HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Sisiter Haley doesn't like it either. But, Mom does, so we are both learning how to tolerate it.

I would like to thank effury one for the wonderfully warm welcome I have recieved.
My humom is going to help me write this cuz I'm too little to reach the keyboard.
As you already know, I am Little Miss, Princess of the Frozen North.
I am about 11 - 12 weeks old, have very pretty brown eyes (although my humom says that they will probably change to orange). My fur is 'ticked' and looks the fur on a bobcat or a wild rabbit. Speaking of rabbits, I have a short stubby tail, just like a rabbit. It's also like my big sister Haley's.
My feline mom is what they call a 'manx' cat (although I think she was just a kitty with a short tail - there's lots of them around here, I am told) and my feline dad is a vagabond traveller, wandering the area, in search of adventure.
I have a doggy big sister, Haley, who I am just not sure of. Sometimes, I think she likes me but other times she scares me.
Like when she sticks her rump in the air and 'grufffs' at me. Mom says she wants to play but it sounds like she wants to eat me.
When she seems to want to eat me, I fluff up my fur and slug her in the nose. That gets her to back opff, really fast!
My mom got me from a couple of ladies who were taking care of my furmom. They had my furmom, my brother and me. My humom liked me right away and I thought she was pretty cool, too.
So, after my humom got a litter box and food and some toys, she went to their apartment and picked me up. She put me in a black box like bag that had net sides all around so I could see out. Then, I bid my foster humom goodbye and we went to visit and meet some of mom's friends. She took me to the bank and to where she works and boy! did I get a lot of pets and snuggles.
Then, she brought me home. At first, she locked me up in her bedroom and I got to sniff my new sister, under the door. I wasn't sure about that smell. I'd never seen a dog before and I thought it was a wolf! A very small wolf, to be sure, but still a wolf. So, when we were formally introduced, I kept my claws at the ready, just in case.
Turns out, my claws aren't needed because my sister is a pretty cool dog, but don't tell her I said that!
Well, I am getting tired. This story telling and typing is a hard job, so I'll sign off now and think of some more to say later.
Once again, it's great to be here on Dogster and thanks again for the warm welcome.
Mom says she's going to get more pictures of me on here. She says I'm just too cute not to share with the world!
Some of you may be wondering what a Yooper kitty (or dog or person) is.
Well, I'll tell you.
A Yooper is anyone who lives in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (USA). The Upper Peninsula is shortened to the U.P., hense the name yooper.
Where I live, it's right on the southern shore of Lake Superior, which is one very hugs lake. I know, I have seen it.
