Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: March 19th 2008
 Coloration: Tabby-White

Likes: Being loved

Pet-Peeves: Being scared...sudden movements and loud noises

Favorite Toy: Catnip mice

Favorite Nap Spot: Curled up with his brothers in a box of old clothes.

Favorite Food: He's not picky. He loves canned food over dry, but will eat anything.

Skills: Not that he's shared. He's just a normal, perfect kitty.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: I am deeply sad to say that Max went to the Rainbow Bridge at 9:30am, Oct 28. He went to play with his brother Leo, who suffered from the same illness less than a month ago. See his diary for details. Max is one of a litter of 6. His mom belonged to a neighbor, but he didn't take care of her. She came to me when it was time to give birth, and raised the babies in my house. They are well-loved.

Bio: Max is pretty calm, gets along well with the other cats in the house, and is an all-around great little boy. He's playful but not aggressive, loves to be petted, and has even been known to plant a kiss or two. He's a real cutie, and I'd love to keep him, but if he can find a loving home I'd be happy with that, too.

Three weeks ago Max went in to be neutered. He came home with an upper respiratory infection, which he got over with good meds. A few days later he started going downhill again. Testing and surgery revealed diseased kidneys, and a biopsy found that it was FIP. His brother Leo had the same disease a month ago, to the same end. It was horrible to let them both go, but much more merciful than watching them suffer. Thankfully, the rest of the family is healthy, and I'm praying they stay that way. Thanks for the gifts and the thoughts of those who will read this. Say a little word for his mom, if you will. Losing two boys in one month has broken her heart.

Hey, everybody! I'm Max, and I'm hoping to find a safe, loving home to grow old in! I don't have a lot to say right now, but I wanted to say meow. I hear a can opener...later!!
