Arrival Story:
Phoebe was one of my first Selkirks who I showed and was the world's best Mommy cat to a couple litters of kittens. Fate is the Granddaughter of Phoebe. Unfortunately , Phoebe has a genetic disorder which causes cysts in her kidneys which will probably lead to kidney failure at some point. We are enjoying her sweet cuddles while we still can.

Saying goodbye

It was a very sad and stressful day yesterday, we lost our poor Phoebe. Phoebe has been battling with increasing poor health and uncomfortable symptoms of her PKD (growing cysts in her kidneys) for quite some time now. The vet told us at an early age that she may suffer kidney failure at some point but we had not expected to lose her so soon. With her quality of life degrading by the day, I made the painful decision to say goodbye. She is finally happy and comfortable again, now in kitty heaven.
