Arrival Story:
Mulligan appeared in the yard in the spring of 1996. Starving, flea ridden, etc. After several months, I was able to take him to the vet, for neutering and shots. All his tests came back normal, except one. He is FIV positive. I was devistated, thinking he could die tomorrow. I was told some cats can live a long and (somewhat) normal life, as has been the case with Mulligan. There have been several close calls, tho with human persistance and medications, he pulled through. As of recently, he has gone blind in one eye.... it has not affected his daily activities. Each day is a blessing that he is with us.
