Arrival Story:
I've always wanted a cat, but before my family's pets were hermit crabs and tortoises. Not very cuddly pets. I started looking at cats at the Humaine Society website. I saw a cat that I really wanted and his name was Hummer. When I went to the Humaine Society, Hummer was at a vet so I would have to go over there and see him. I still decided to look at other cats. The first two I met, were not interested in me at all. They didn't want me to touch them. I was starting to think I would never find the right cat when they brought one in named "Pogo". I thought that was an awful name, but she was so sweet and had the biggest green eyes I have ever seen. I knew right there that this was the cat for me. She didn't look like a Pogo, so I named her Ella.
